After 1 too many power outages, especially in the winter, I decided to order the Champion Generator after no power for 2 days. I ordered on line around midnight on a Monday and it was delivered by Wednesday. With no prior experiences with generator use, we had no problems to get running. Able to power all we need to have 1 room of function, pellet stove, lights, tv, microwave. Well worth the money, which was the least expensive when I was shopping last minute. Just wish I had done it before!

Bought this generator oct 1st, I just got around to firing it up for the first time. Unboxed it put the wheel kit on it that I bought added oil and started it on propane first. It started great, ran fine but after about 10 mins of letting it warm up I thought I would plug my small garage fan into to test it. I plugged the fan in and it work, however when I change speeds on the fan the generator would die, I did this with multiple different fans and had the same result. So I call Champion CS, which by the way are very responsive and helpful, they had me run some test with my voltmeter and determined the hertz were to low so they sent me to a authorized repair center close to me. Two weeks later I pick it up after it was “repaired” and the same thing is happing. I called champion CS back and we went through a couple more possibilities with no results, so in the end all they could tell me at this point was it needed to get past the break in period and then it might operate properly. I had my doubts on that theory and was not happy. Next morning I walk into my garage and it has leaked all the oil out of it on to my garage floor. That was my last straw, back to Sams in went So that's my story .. maybe I got a lemon, I don't know, but I'm giving it two stars because it does seem like a well built unit and customer service was responsive.

We bought this product because our other generator was 32 years young. Where we live we have a lot of outages and you don't want to be without electricity in the heat of the summer for any time. We shopped around and Sam's club price and delivery was a great deal.

Love it. I am only running Propane. Holds good electrical load
