I purchased this generator in preparation for the 2019 Hurricane season after being a half mile from the eye of Cat 5 Hurricane Michael last year. Ready to go right out of the box, just add oil and fuel. Started up and ran it on gas for about 10 minutes and plugged a couple of fans in....everything worked. Switch hed off fuel to burn everything out of the carb. Have not run it on propane yet, but it is an option on this dual fuel model. Purchased an 18x30inch wooden movers dolly from Harbor Freight to mount this generator to since a wheel kit is not included and they run $30+. Will use the original box slipped over it as the dust cover. Only time will tell on dependability.

The generator works fine. However I wired my box and bought all the extra parts thinking this was 220. Now I need to buy a $27-39 adapter and make sure all 220 CBs are off on the main panel. I did not see in the description that it was 120 only but the pictures, if you enlarge them, and count the prongs that will be a clue. I just didn't need a larger generator for minor power outages. I suppose I could cut the end off the cord and put a 110 male plug on it. ARGH! I know this seems minor to most folks but sending 110 to both legs on a master panel without hitting all the 220 CBs can do some serous damage. I could also just power one side of the panel and move some breakers around.

Was a house warming gift to a family member & they are grateful & pleased with it in the event of an emergency. They were really impressed that it used either gas or propane (they can use the propane cylinder from the grill IF needed in the winter). So nice option.

Living in Florida and with this being hurricane season this seemed to be such an appropriate purchase but what made it even better was the fact that not only is a gasoline-powered but it's also propane-powered. What's some people forget sometimes is that during a power outage you can't get gas at a gas station and if you got propane you still have power

Really disappointed in this purchase. They included a regulator he's for propane that is piped backwards and does not work, the flow arrow cast on the regulator is pointed at the tank,not the generator so the unit cannot get enough propane to run - They will not answer the phone either, tried four time total hold of more than 3 hours zero response. There are Other issues as well, this unit looks good but that is not good enough, I want my money back

I bought this generator about 3 weeks ago and have just completed the 5 hour break in period per the owner's manual. I also ordered a really nice wheel kit for $34.00 and now it is very easy to move around. I have only run it on propane and so far have 2 issues; it is quite loud and a little hard to start on propane but for $299.00 I'm OK with it.

We bought this for camping. Easy to start with one pull. Ran our travel trailer air conditioner all night. Not as noisy as we expected it to be. We could barely hear it once inside the camper. Friends had a Honda 3000 and it was really noisy. Great price and great product.

Over all appears to do all that advertised. Propane only so far. Ran my 25 cu-ft. retrig no problem. Bought the wheel kit. Easy install. 3-5 pull to start, but can live with that. A little noisier than I like, but can live with that also. Price was good.

Purchased this as a replacement for an older model I used during Hurricane Charley in Florida back in 2004. This one is much more compact and besides adding oil ready to go. I like the propane option which will allow for less gasoline to be stored in the garage. So far just ran for a short test period but it works as described. Well made. I have already recommended to several friends and plan to buy a second one as a gift.
