Set up was straightforward. Instructions Are well written. We added a wheel kit making it easy to move around. Purchased to power essentials around our home and this fits the bill perfectly. We feel confident in being able to handle the next outage and will also use this for outdoor projects.

I bought this generator when we had hurricanes brewing this year and heading toward Florida. The main reason I purchased this, is that it ran on propane and gasoline. Fortunately, the hurricane did only minor damage in our area and power was not lost. However, I of course did a trial run and it ran beautifully (on propane). The instructions were simple, easy to understand and clearly showed the different hookups and switches - I attached them to the unit. My wife could easily hook this up and run it, if I were not home during an emergency. I am impressed with this Champion.

I run my RV on this. It seems to handle everything easily. This is a nice unit. Really like the dual fuel option. I run it on propane mostly, but when you run out it's nice to have gasoline to back you up. It's really easy to switch back and forth. It starts really easy and doesn't make a great amount of noise. The only thing I'd change is where you drain the engine oil. It needs to be moved so it'll drain straight down into a pan instead of onto the frame rail.

I purchased this just prior to Hurricane Florence, we were without power for 6 days, and this generator ran all of the lights, fans, and the refrigerator for our home. Since all of the stations were out of gasoline the propane was the perfect solution for operating this unit uninterrupted for six days.

Works perfectly, simple, start from the first time, considerably quiet, and provides steady power. Take both Propane and usual gas, but better take Ethanol-free one, if you gonna use it not all the time (keeps the carburetor clean). Even better to run on Propane, but much more expensive. I would love to have the running-hours meter, but... this is a simple, reliable, and not expensive model.
