I bought this generator when we had hurricanes brewing this year and heading toward Florida. The main reason I purchased this, is that it ran on propane and gasoline. Fortunately, the hurricane did only minor damage in our area and power was not lost. However, I of course did a trial run and it ran beautifully (on propane). The instructions were simple, easy to understand and clearly showed the different hookups and switches - I attached them to the unit. My wife could easily hook this up and run it, if I were not home during an emergency. I am impressed with this Champion.

Very easy to setup and use. Running on LP gas. Fired on first pull. Plenty of power for 38' camper. Ran roof top A/C, microwave, phone charger and lighting with no problem. Can barely hear running on back side of camper. About 15 feet from trailer. Camper plugs directly into generator without adapter. Very good unit so far. Thanks

I did a lot of research before buying. Overall, on several sites, the Champion was listed as a great product. I bought this one because I wanted the propane fuel option. We use the inverter/generator for boondocking with our camper. I am very happy with it. I would buy it again. Great machine at a great price! Thank you, Champion! E Havelick

I purchased my generator for the main convenience of the propane, which I like best. I have a small RV and my new Champion has performed very well. I am impressed with the performance using several thing's in the RV at one time, and the generator worked great. At our altitude of almost 6,500 ft high, reading the manual, stating every 1000 ft may interfere with the performance, but no problem. I purchased the generator for the fact that in the winter here in CO, have had my electric go out many hrs, this way I am prepared for next electrical outage also. Great feeling when one is older and lives alone, I now feel secure with owning my new Champion...thank You!

Bought this generator at an estate sale. Prior owners purchased at the start of the Covid shutdown, but never touched it. After downloading and reading the manual, filled it with oil & gas to run for the break-in period of 5 hours. Unit started on the 3rd pull. Noise was moderate/acceptable. Ran it for 2 hours initially. Waited a couple of weeks, then ran it for another 3 hours. Started right away, running flawlessly. Changing the oil wasn't bad although there is a frame component below the drain plug that can make things messy unless you angle the unit for the outflow to avoid it. I would have liked to have a whole-house unit, but I don't have natural gas service to my residence. Since most of the portable sized units don't have the running load capacity to handle the big ticket items - A/C, heater or grinder pump - I saw no need to get a higher output generator. This one will do fine to run the necessities - refrigerator, fans, TV and most importantly, my wife's cell phone charger!

This thing does everything I wanted and more. Runs great on propane right out of the box and puts out plenty of power for my travel trailer, heaters and everything else I could get plugged into it. I literally couldn't use all the power out was able to provide. Runs relatively quiet to which is a bonus.

I've only had the opportunity to run the break in period, and did so without using any power. I do like how quiet it is for a generator this big and cheap. And I love the dual fuel feature as I will be using it for camper trips mostly. I wont have to worry about running out of fuel as much. I will give it a full test as soon as we're able to go camping again and will update to a five star ratting if deserved. The only bad things I can say are, I wish it came with the wheel kit (although at the price I'm not surprised it didn't), and I think the oil bung could have better placement for ease of oil change (but you can say that about most cars these days).

Purchased this product to prep for hurricane season. Started right up on both LPG and gasoline fuel. Ran it for the 5-hour break-in period and then drained the oil. Will be ready to go when the time comes by just adding oil and fuel. During the initial run time, I powered a large refrigerator/freezer, a separate chest freezer, a few fans, a battery charger, and used a shop vac. Everything ran as if plugged into public utility power. Generator was not straining - seemed like there was plenty more power to spare. Ran about 4hrs 15min on first gallon of gas.

This generator is not too heavy for one person to lift. I filled it up with oil and gas; I still could lift it by myself. It cranked right up on the first pull. I have not ran any power to it as of yet. Looking forward to doing so soon. I ordered the wheel kit. It's not heavy to lift it, but why lift when you can just pull it. So far so good.

When the power went out in Texas mid Feb 2021, I had the generator mounted on a garden cart. I pulled it up near the house and now to get power line into house. I cut two 3 inch boards for fitting across the window ledge, cut a slot on one side and passed the # 12 cord into the house and could shut the window down tight. The generator was run for one full tank of fuel. Next morning it was -4 with 6" snow. I refueled the unit, put the coke on and pulled. Third pull it started. It was pleasing to hear the engine and we had lights. DB
