Seems to be a very stable unit. I like that I can use different fuels if needed. It is quite a bit louder than I expected but much quieter than others I've used. I wish it had come with a handle an wheels on the unit but satisfied I was able to purchase these items for this unit. Installation was very easy. Overall, this is a good unit that will do the job I need it to do.

After spending much time researching, this Champion Dual fuel is the best for the price I could find. This will only be used for emergency / power outages. I prefer the propane fuel option which, due to the consumption rate of 50% for normal running 3150 wattage output, is said to only use one tank of fuel per 10.5 hrs. That means running only when I need it, lets say 5 hours per day during an outage, I could realistically power what I need and keep my food cold for about a week on just two or three tanks kept in reserve. I also have the gasoline option, but only plan to use that in an emergency if there is a shortage of propane after I run out of my reserve. Propane is cleaner and I expect the generator life to be long if I only use that type of fuel.

Bout this generator for Emergancy use at home after we had an earthquake and having some power issues. I took it on a hunting trip and was really impressed how easy it was to start even in cold climates. The noise is still a little loud let than some of the other generators but still impressed wasn't bad. The fuel tank was another great part and not having to fill it as much. Haven't tried propane yet.

I am impressed by the quality and functionality of this generator. As a dual-fuel model, it's very easy to switch between gas and propane - just a turn of a switch. It's perfect for keeping the house going in the event of a power outage. I can keep the fridge going along with some essential lighting, internet and computer. The price was very competitive with other brands.

Presently I use it as a backup when power goes out due to high winds in our area. It has performed without any hiccups the last three times I have used it. I have used the help support line and the techs have been very professional asking all the right questions for my minor problem. I am very happy with my generator, the price I paid and the tech support.

Works perfectly, simple, start from the first time, considerably quiet, and provides steady power. Take both Propane and usual gas, but better take Ethanol-free one, if you gonna use it not all the time (keeps the carburetor clean). Even better to run on Propane, but much more expensive. I would love to have the running-hours meter, but... this is a simple, reliable, and not expensive model.

I bought this product based solely on the reviews of others and it dual fuel option. I have never purchased a generator of any kind before. However, I recently purchased an Airstream Bambi and looked into the necessity of having a dependable generator when " boondocking." Champion came up consistently as a dependable generator for my needs. Further review supported the benefits of have the dual fuel options as LP was preferable to gasoline in most cases. So I purchased this model for it reputation, features, and it price. Haven't taken it out the box yet, but I'm trusting the reviews and Champion's long history of dependable products.

This Champion generator is phenomenal. I've weathered many a storm sitting through power outages; no lights, no fan, no heat. Won't happen again. I especially like the option of using the generator with either gas or propane. I'm fond of propane and it runs fine on LP. Better get yourself one of these Champion generators.

A quality machine, I powered on and tested. Started on the second pull, all outlets were putting out good voltage. I use ethanol free gasoline, by my calculations 20 gallons of gas will get me through 3 days without power, from past experience gas is available at service stations after that. The fuel efficiency, output wattage, price and good reviews is the reasons I chose the Champion 3500W.

I bought this portable generator knowing nothing about portable generators and found the Champion product to be extremely easy to set up and operate. It is much quieter than8 expected and was super impressed by the fact that the wheel kit accessories that I purchased were very easy to install and made the generator an even "better buy". I am extremely pleased with this product and would highly recommend it.
