I purchased this generator 3 weeks ago and have put about 5 hours on it so far using only propane. It's a little hard to start on propane taking 7 to 10 pulls. I've read reviews and some have had the same experience with propane but others say it starts very well with gasoline. I also ordered a nice wheel kit for $34.00 that works very well. The biggest issue I have with this generator is the noise. It is very loud and I would recommend it only for those uses where noise is not a concern.

This was a quick purchase to go on a short notice camping trip with a camper. The unit had plenty of power to run the AC, coffee maker and my wife's hair dryer at the same time using the propane option. I do not plan to use the gasoline option unless I have to. Convenient to store in the garage with no gasoline fumes. Pros: Plenty of power for any camper, inexpensive, duel fuel, optional wheel kit was simple installation. Cons: No hour meter, no option for NG, oil drain is right over frame. #sweepstakes

during the last freeze we lost power at our home. i use a cpap machine . I sleept in my truck. The next day i went out and bought a champion generator. run a extension cord through the bed room window so i could sleep the next night. i was cold but I got a good nights sleep.

We bought this to use for our camper, and it works great, powered everything without fail <note, we did not try air conditioning on this>. Starts really easily, and the dual fuel option is awesome. My only gripe is that the description said it was quiet and it most definitely is not. We had it behind our camper, probably 20 feet away from where our campers were circled and we had to raise our voices to be heard over the noise. This is our first generator purchase and overall we are happy with it. The price at Sam's was the lowest we found.

1 star so far. Unboxed the unit, followed all pre start steps, put fuel in it and the fuel ran out between the cab and the intake port. Contacted CS and they have been great so far but still waiting for parts. So I have not even started this unit yet.

We live in a rural part of southeast Oklahoma. Bought this last month and I have already used it. We live in an RV while fixing up the house on 5 acres. It has plenty of power to run are entire RV. It's been over 100 degrees and the AC is a must. It powered our entire RV with everything running. It's actually a life and death situation here if we didn't have the generator. We used propane and it started right up!! And then I use the gas feature while using it on remote parts of the acreage. But I have one big complaint!!! I haven't received my shirt yet!!! Maybe they are out of XXL sizes, I'm not sure. I would recommend this to anyone for emergencies or everyday use where it's to far for extension cords.

This is my second champion generator I've purchased. My first one was electric start,this one is manual pull start. I bought the second one for back up power at the house. Both have been exactly what I've expected. Straight out of the box ,after adding oil, they have performed perfectly. I bought these duel fuel because they run on propane which is my preferred fuel and the gas fuelis just a back up. I would highly recommend Champion generators for their ease of operation and the reliability. I've never had any issues with their products.

My wife and I are campers and we'd love to Boondock we were a little camper and we needed a good generator. I bought this generator because of the reviews and now that I'm only in worked at several times the reviews are spot on. Great generator and a great price keep up the good work

My brand new generator did not work right out of the box. I called Customer Service (somewhat of a nightmare). Waited a week for a new voltage regulator, put it on myself, same problem. Called Customer Service. Waited another week as Eddie sent me a new voltage regulator and new brushes. Installed them myself and the generator works. I was not happy and almost took the unit back to the store. For my patience, Champion should offer me a free extended warranty. Thank you.

Bought the generator before the Polar Vortex and massive storm 2019 and have been running the unit on propane. Starts right up thankfully only been running in test mode. Only drawback I've seen so far is running on propane the on/off switch doesn't shut the machine work you use the propane inlet valve. this is in the online owners manual not the one with the machine.
