I bought this particular chair for my wife to replace a theater recliner that I bought from a big box furniture store 4 years ago. That was a piece of junk. My wife likes the firmness of the seat and cushion. The hidden compartments are very handy as well as the cup holder. The little table is really clever. I like the built-in power supply. I have to admit, the $300 off special price was the clincher.

Chair was delivered yesterday. I got it into the house and put together, but when hit the button to put it back in its upright position after reclining it pops and splinters of wood end up on my floor. I turned it over and you can tell that when the chair was built they did not center it properly so the left side is farther over than the right and is apparently hitting the wood underneath. I guess I will have to lug this worthless chair back to Sams for a refund before it breaks entirely.

2022, November. I bought this a month ago $299 with $300-off. Setup was very simple, the chair parts fit through a standard doorframe. Power plugs and usb outlets work well - the chair power cord is packaged with the tray table and can be difficult to find. The chair feels sturdy and solid, the seat cushion is good. The electric mechanism is quick, lifting the legs first, before lowering the top. What could be better: The cushions on your back are stiff and do not give that enveloping or snuggle feel, but it is still comfortable. The lack of a power headrest does make fully reclined television watching more of a struggle - and purchase of a head pillow online is a challenge. There are two power cords (one for the chair, one for the outlets) and the cords could be longer. There is also a lack of YouTube videos - setup, use, etc. which would have been helpful. With those concerns why 4 stars - it is $299, is comfortable, solid and study, not perfect, but a better fit for my 6'1" size than most other options at this price point, has a nice look and feel, and works well.

I bought this for my dad. He normally eats on a TV dinner tray and now uses this tray since he has the 2 drink holders. Love the 3 USB ports and 1 normal outlet on the chair. It is more cushy than I expected which works well for him. Great chair and great buy, especially on sale!

If your like back support this is it. To firm for my liking. Material is ok+ stitching ok-. One power cord + one separate power cord with power converter. Recline is smooth with good vertical extention. Arm table ok. Nice stainless cup holders removable for cleaning. Nice led controls. Power outlet in pocket with 2 USB. Arm pockets are deep, they don't quite fully open to vertical but are self closing. Assembly arms a bit of a pain lining up. Durability & reliability can't comment on. Nice buy if on sale.

I bought a pair of these recliners sight unseen during the Black Friday sale. I based my purchase off of the positive reviews that this chair received. I am so happy with my purchase! Both chairs came in great condition, no issues with the tray tables, and whisper quiet reclining. If you are thinking about purchasing this chair, don’t hesitate. It’s super comfortable, as I’ve already fallen asleep in it twice out of the three days I’ve had it. And being able to charge your phone while using it is a plus. I would have really missed out on a great product if I didn’t take a chance on these chairs. You won’t regret it.

A lot of the reviews complain that the USB and AC adaptor inside the right arm rest don't work and mine didn't either at first. The chair did not come with any user manual or instructions. I even looked for a downloadable one on the Abbyson website with no luck so we started reading reviews. We finally found the answer! Turn the chair over on it's left side and there is a zippered pouch with another power cord that connects the power inside the right armrest. Once I plugged that in, they all worked fine! I don't understand why they wouldn't include a simple instruction sheet explaining this, especially after so many customers have complained about the same issue. I do like the chair though and find it comfortable overall and so far it functions well.

Cheap material!! I bought this theater recliner for my husband for Christmas 2019. The chair has worked great; however, by Christmas 2020, the material on the headrest had a section that has rubbed off, about the size of a silver dollar. I contacted the manufacturer with pictures and they sent a third party repair person who laughed and said he couldn’t repair it. I was contacted by Abbyson, the manufacturer, who told me it couldn’t be repaired and they couldn’t do anything about it. So if you’re ok with spending the money for a one year chair, buy it. I hoped it would have lasted longer!

We bought two of these because of the price and because we were able to try out a SIMILAR one in the Sam’s club near us. These are not sold in store and can only be shipped to your home. Each recliner in the box weighs 123#. I am surprised they weren’t damaged in shipping. I didn’t feel they were boxed with enough padding and the boxes had holes all in them when they arrived, but they were in good shape. Overall, they are okay and because they were on sale for a decent price, I think we can live with them for a while if they hold up. Now, set up was fairly easy. The outlets in the arm rest had no power in either recliner. I called customer service and was told about an additional plug inside the zippered dust cover underneath the chair. The instructions say there is ONE cord and I found it inside the armrest that contained the table, but you have TWO power cords for each recliner that are needed to get everything to work. Kind of messy with all the cords. I am pleased with the speed it reclines and the smoothness. I do like the support and the firmness. It’s not soft and plush at all. Lumbar area seems to be well supported. Arm rests seem too high. Head area is way too far back. I have to have a pillow to support my head. This is really my only gripe. Love the table and cup holders and storage compartments! I am 5’9” and my husband is about 6’1” and they seem so for length.

Nice looking chair that felt pretty good. Until we plugged it in... no power! 3 of us looked at the instructions and the chair. Wrong packing slip and chair missing a power cord. Tried a cord from another chair of of curiosity, it worked and there was power. Tried calling CSV, to discover, they're closed on the weekend. The cord attached to the chair powered the USB assembly. This was a common complaint.
