[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my LG 100HWA for almost 2 months. I will never buy another brand. I love my LG. At first I was a little overwhelmed with all the bells and whistles, there are just so many options. But, I'm an expert now! I can't believe how much money I'm saving...less electricity, less water, and less detergent. My clothes are even cleaner and brighter than they were before.

After a recent visit to my local home improvement center, I knew I wanted stackable/front loading machines for my small walk-in laundry room in an effort to maximize floor space to allow for additional storage options. Being vertically challenged, I found it difficult to reach the controls for the top unit without a step stool and was very excited to find the Washtower solved my space and accessibility concerns without sacrificing capacity. Cycle customization and monitoring for both washer and dryer is easy with the use of the LG ThinQ app. Can’t recommended this product enough!

I recently bought this laundry tower to replace and old clunky laundry that I unherited when I moved into a condo. This unit fit perfectly into the closet and cleans perfectly and quickly. The app feature is great so you know when your cycle is coming to an end...just need to figure out how to lower the volume on the chime when the wash/dry cycle ends.

The problem is that on the dryer, all of the temperature and other settings are preset and can’t be changed. 99% of the time I dry my clothes on low temperature. There is no setting for low temperature drying other than timed dry without downloading from the app. The app looses connection to my wifi on a regular basis. Nothing else in my house looses internet connection. On laundry day, it is common for me to have to delete the appliance from the app and reload it. Further, this is a vacation home and our adult children vacation here too. So that means they have to download the app if they want to choose their own settings. I find it very frustrating that I can’t just change the settings to my preference. The suggested dryer setting for all of my clothes is low so it blows my mind that low temperature drying is not a regular setting. Every single time I do laundry, I lament out load- I hate this machine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this 3 weeks ago to replace conventional washer and (old)dryer and am so glad I did. Easy to use and I believe I will be saving $ on electric bill, old dryer needed 2 cycles to dry anything and controls are easy to use.

This is one of the more difficult purchases that I've ever made when it comes to appliances. I definitely won't buy this ever again, but unfortunately I'm stuck with my purchase until this thing finally kicks the bucket. My main problem with the device is the restrictive programming and how to wash and dry your clothes, you can't actually change certain settings and set up a custom cycle, you have to use the program cycles that the manufacturers at LG have prescribed for me to use. Now what I'm left with is no way to do a cold cycle wash, or to dry a load of laundry while using low heat. I've even tried using the app, it does have more cycle options, but you can't customize anything. I appreciate that the researchers and engineers at LG have figured out the best way to use this washing machine, but they seem to have forgotten that the purpose of a washing machine is to care for clothes. So when you want to set up a certain cycle to meet a specific need for your type of laundry, good luck because the engineers at LG have decided that all of their Cycles are in the best interest of the machine, not your clothes.

The bad - We got the wash tower delivered on July 26th and the dryer didn't work on arrival. LG did send a tech to repair the dryer but the entire process took a week where we had to dry clothes at Laundromat. The good - the washer dryer talk to each other and seamlessly decide the drying time based on the washing load and the washer is relatively quiet.

I bought this washer and dryer tower in May and it has worked great. Quiet compared to most washer / dryers and has cleaned my clothes well. Settings appear to function well and the drums are clean and fresh. One negative I have found is that laundry fill pull out you can't easily pour into the back compartments. Overall a good machine, the next test is longevity.

So quiet! It does a great job washing and drying. It’s very sensitive with the vent error. We’ve had it professionally installed, and had out ducts professionally cleaned, clean the filter with each wash but had consistently gotten a vent or from the very first load we’ve dried.
