[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought a different brand after we bought the house in2013. The tub would only hold a small amount of water, so when I was doing a larger load I would have to put a couple of buckets of water in the tub. The machine was very noisy. Our son has this same LG Washtower and it works great at his business. We are loving it doing the laundry. It is a very quite machine and very efficient.

I have one installed in my “washer closet”. The water drain hose on it is about 60” long, it does not wrap all the way around the back as shown in photo - it’s at least 12” short! The photo on the website shows a hose that when shipping wraps all the way around the back of the washer: have measured one in a store to be about 100”! I can’t speak to the operation of the machine as I can’t use it! The seller will be taking it back. Such a waste of everybody’s time and efforts.

This washer-dryer combo is great. It is quiet and easy to use and is very convenient, so why the 3 star? It does not come with all of the features that it has on it's console. For example, I want air dry. Air dry does not come pre-loaded you have to hook the unit up to wifi and download the feature. Easy enough right? Wrong. The app that you load on your phone to download the feature is not compatible with faster networks! Yes, you have to have a slow network in order to download the feature to the unit!

1 day to use the dryer, horrible noise. Called the service department, came to look at it. Said a needed a new part (bearing) it would need to be ordered. Yesterday it was replaced, did my first load and the same issue again. Then a did a second load of laundry ,at the end of the cycle there was so much suds i had to removed and the laundry was not wrong properly. I always use less detergent (Persia)than recommended. So that should not have been the issue. I have had front endloaders since the early 80’s. Very disappointed. Called the dealer , have not heard

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did a lot of research to replace a 15 year old combo unit that came with the condo. This one seemed to git the bill, and after it was installed in our kitchen closet, it started whirring. Washed and dryer control panel are easy to use, within reach (a big plus) and pretty intuitive. Washer is really quiet: sounds like a light tropical rain for a few minutes, then it does its thing, definitely low decibel. Small loads and large loads alike, clothes are washed thoroughly and come out out almost dry from the fast spin. Dryer is also very quiet and after playing a little bit with the options, it's easy to find the right drying level. We wanted a stacked unit, decent drum size fitting in a small space, with controls accessible (don't have to overextend or climb on a stool with this one), quiet, and that does what it's supposed to for without fuss: A+ in all categories. Very pleased with this purchase so far--it's been three weeks and a dozen of loads

The amount of water in the washtub was an issue for me, i had a front loader before that did not wash the clothes well. I am so happy with the washing process in this washer. I turn the light on inside of the drum and i can see the water and soap actually washing my clothes. The dryer sets itself from the settings off of the washer and it works very well. Great purchase for us.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love it and hate it. The combined tower is a nice space saver in an apartment, previous units barely fit when stacked. Washes clothes as expected, rinses better than my previous washer, app is okay but my partner hates it…because a lot of the presets require the app (some delicate or handwash option), but you are still required to interact on the actual washer and dryer (so clothes in washer, pull out phone, select downloaded on washer, start on washer). I believe you can enable starting the washer/dryer on the app but then you completely disable the ability to start on the washer, it’s crazy they can’t give you the option. The 2 biggest issues are the rinse and spin, and the inability to just add more time to the dryer. If you need to rinse and spin, you have to use the app, and you can’t select the temperature. It won’t do cold rinses, only medium/cool and there are no guides or documentation discussing water temperature for the unit. Cold is required for a lot of clothes. Also, never had a dryer where you can’t add more or less time, not a big deal but there are just so many basics missing, and the app falls short on providing them properly. I bought this washer and dryer tower in May and it has worked great. Quiet compared to most washer / dryers and has cleaned my clothes well. Settings appear to function well and the drums are clean and fresh. One negative I have found is that laundry fill pull out you can't easily pour into the back compartments. Overall a good machine, the next test is longevity.

PRO: Looks good CONS: I have never had a washer that stinks like this one. Even my clothes don't smell or feel as clean and they are not as soft. I have to leave the door open on the washer so it doesn't smell all mildewy. I don't like having a washer that suggests I have to clean it after each load. That's just crazy and it doesn't help it smell any better. As for the dryer my only complaint is that lint, dirt, sand Etc builds up on the lower portion of the seal on the door. Therefore extra mess.

I do like both the washer and dryer units. They work well. My complete disappointment, however, is the dryer does not have a cool down feature in the last few minutes of the cycle, nor does it have an air only feature. I am absolutely dumbfounded. I have owned at least 5-6 washer dryer sets in my lifetime. This is a first. The designers of this product obviously have never done laundry.
