DON'T waste your money

This is my 15th and 16th set of shelves I have purchased. They seem flimsy going up but are sturdy when finished. I will buy more.

Sturdier than you think.

The shelving is great but I was missing a part and Sam’s Club has yet to call me back or send the part it was missing

Good but not good customer service

Putting together was difficult. Hard to explain how but if you got one piece clicked in place, 2 other pieces would fall out of place.

Difficult assembly

Very sturdy once assembled.  It will take two people to put them together.  I added screws at each shelf into each support.  Liked it so well i have bought 2 and planning on two more.  Gave 4 stars because of difficultly in assembly.

Strong shelf unit. Need two people to assembly

Bought 3 shelving units.  It's a two person job to put them together.  The units kept coming apart.  The side rails are flimsy.  These shelves are good for light storage but disappointing in the quality of the construction

Not as sturdy as I had hoped.

Not as sturdy as the former Gorilla racks.  Materials are noticeably thinner and the fit between pieces is way less precise. Final assembly acceptable for light/medium storage.

This was difficult to put together.  Even my very talented handyman couldn’t finish it.  It’s nowhere near the other shelving units I have.  I would not recommend this unit.

Hard to put together and flimsy.

Purchased for some basement and garage shelving.  They hold up well, lots of shelf space overall.  I gave it a 4 because they can be very difficult to put together and 2 ppl is a must for assembly.

Sturdy, can be hard to put together

Do not even attempt to assemble this shelf alone! The components are too flimsy, and the shelf brackets will not stay attached to the slots in the vertical uprights. They will pop-out at the slightest touch.  

With the help of a second person, I finally was able to assemble the lower half. The instructions have you assemble the top half separately, then place that assembly on the bottom half. They are supposed to be locked together by the long and short shelf brackets. There is a small ridge on the lower uprights to meet the top uprights. This design is a joke! The components are far too lightweight to hold the assembly together.

We finally gave up and are only using the bottom section with 4 shelves.

Save yourself a lot of pain and aggravation and find a heavier-duty alternative.

Cannot assemble bottom/top sections vertically!

I bought 2 of these racks for my basement storage area to hold large totes. It is a 2 person assembly job because the rails don’t stay in place while you are putting things together. That being said, the rack is very sturdy and stable after the shelves are placed. Each shelf holds a lot of weight and the rack doesn’t sway at all once assembled.
