Having assembled products for a living, I would say this is not the easiest to assemble when it comes to connecting the uprights to go the full 7 feet. If you’re using as two separate shelving units, it is quite easy. Once connected though, the unit is quite nice and sturdy, even more sturdy once weight is added to the shelves. Would buy again

This is an excellent shelf with tons of storage space. You can configure it to suit your needs. We have several different styles of shelving from Sam’s Club. We don’t have a food pantry so this does the job! This is hands down my favorite. I would love to purchase more for my office. Bring them back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 the best.

I brought this item but it came with parts missing ( 3 short Beam) I contacted sams club and TSY service but no luck. Tsy service who makes and ship this rack told me to pay extra $15 shipping cost. sams club agents were no help . They just said they have to create ticket and Not sure when I can get refund or replacement

We found these rack's to be very heavy duty and strong to hold heavy objects. Unfortunately it was somewhat difficult during the assembly to mate the bottom three shelves with the top three. We had to secure them together with self threading screws. Additionally once assembled they tended to tilt forward and we had to secure them to the wall with large hooks.

Was desperate for shelves and the heavy duty ones I've bought over and over have been sold out for months. Couldn't reach the display in the store to test, but i had (past tense) faith in Sam's so i drove 80 miles to the closest Sam's with the shelves. Got them home and started to put them together and here's where the "fun" starts: 1.) The steel literally flexes in your hands a full 90 degrees. It is not doubled up like the good shelves (which wouldn't flex, btw) 2.) The connectors are laughable. Don't put ANY weight above the middle connector. 3.) The shelves themselves are decent, but if you plan on putting the advertised 600lb per shelf weight limit, plan on buying thicker plywood. 4.) Did i mention the flex? 5.) While putting the shelves together, that flex thing i mentioned makes it darn near impossible to do this yourself. To make things even better: the steel is sharp and when it smacks you in the back of the head because the idiotic braces flex, you get cut. Head cuts bleed. Bad. 6.) putting it back into the box is oddly satisfying. 7.) Paying double the price for the same shelves (only heavy doubled steel) at home Depot or Lowe's is totally worth it. And they're 6" deeper.

I have several of these shelving units and are very happy with them. Strong and easy to assemble. I found a rubber mallet helps a great deal during assembly. This was also the first time I had bought something online and had it delivered. That was painless, will consider Sam's when online shopping in future.

I consider myself to be a handy person, and I got so frustrated trying to put this piece of garbage that I threw everything back in the box and I am returning. Nothing stays together as you are trying to get everything in place. The worst shelving unit I have ever seen.

I went ahead and got two....first one was rough getting together by myself. I really had a hard time with the top onto the bottom. I did get it. Then on the second I used cotter pins to hold the lowest shelf to the top part and an upper shelf to make it sturdy. No problems, I moved the cotter pin down to the lower hole and it holds the top to the bottom well.

I've bought these shelves and the 5 shelf version (24" deep vs 18" deep on these) multiple times over the years. These used to be really sturdy, easy to assemble and high quality. I just bought some for my storage shed this week and was VERY disappointed in the drop in quality. The metal for the legs and shelf brackets has gotten quite thin. They changed the assembly process so there is no longer a bracket that connects the top and bottom legs together making it much more difficult to assemble and SIGNIFICANTLY weakens the overall structure so it is nowhere near as sturdy as they used to be. Without the center bracket, the shelf supports do not sit properly in the legs at that center shelf point. The shelf boards have also gotten thinner and my package had 2 cracked boards (not fully broken but damaged). I was in a pinch and kept them anyway but I will NOT ever buy these shelves again nor would I recommend them to anyone. These are really, really bad quality and not what they used to be...stay away from these crap shelves.

Might be OK if you could ever get to stay together. The short shelf support beams are to loose and hence the shelf supports fall out if you move it. There are a small subset that work somewhat. You can see that the supports are all the way down in the slot with no need for the rubber mallet the instructions call for.
