Bought two. Both appeared to have been previously purchased and returned as evidenced by packaging and nicks and scrapes to unit. One shelf was completely broken on end and I had to replace with plywood. To big and heavy to return so I made due. Easy to assemble though.

Exactly what i needed, these are nice and sturdy, and they would have cost 200 for all the wood to build one equivalent shelf. Was able to put them together by myself, but it would have been easier with some help. I love that they can easily be taken down and reused somewhere else. Wooden shelves are such a pain to deal with, because you cant easily move them when they are 80 inches tall, while these pop apart in 25 minutes. Took about 2 hours to assemble then both

I bought this a week ago, while it had free shipping, and when it arrived, I started to put it together right away. I was surprised at how easy it was to manage by myself ... after a brief rethinking of the instructions. It is very sturdy and well worth the price. I really needed to get things organized and this unit has help a lot.

The top portion needs better connections, it does not connect to the bottom section, just sits on top and shelf has to hold in place, definitely a two person job. we had to buy bolts to secure the bottom to the top so that it wouldn’t fall off still not real comfortable with it. Would not recommend

We purchased these as storage for our sign business. They work great. We love the adjustability of the height and number of shelves. So easy to put together. While much easier with two people, not difficult if flying solo. The solid shelf is so much better than the slotted wire style racking. They work perfectly for what we need. We even were able to repurpose hooks and bolt them in the open slots. Love it!

Bought this last month to replace shelves that were crumbling. So spacious......the stuff that was on two bookcase like shelves fit on one! May order more in the future. Only complaint was box was heavy and delivery guy must have dropped it cause the corners were cracked, but that has nothing to do with the product.

I purchased 2 of these for my garage to go with the Gorilla rack I bought from Sam's ages ago. The Member's Mark shelves are functionally the same but I'm rather disappointed in the quality by comparison. Assuming you dont have the old Gorilla rack, these are pretty sturdy and will hold a lot of "stuff" once they are assembled. They are definitely easier to put together if you have a partner to hold things steady but I assembled these solo and didn't have too much trouble. Put a shelf in the bottom when you put it together and put another shelf in the bottom before connecting the top. Helped me with stability.

Printed directions are worthless impossible to tell which way anything goes had to go back to the store and take pictures. Got it online the box came in like somebody was playing football with it pieces were missing and shelves had chunks broken off them. Don't care how cheap it was was not worth it!

Purchased to organize a storage room. The extra height, extra shelf (as compared to others), and the ability to split into two units were what led to my purchase of this item. The only reason not given 5-stars is the requirement that a shelf be used to connect the two "units" for the tall version and therefore limited the spacing of the remaining shelves.

The rack would have received a much higher rating except for the very poor engineering where you connect the upper and lower sections together. It should have a stronger connection by adding a 4 inch connecter to help hold the sections together and would also make it much easier to put together. One person could then complete the set up. Due to the flimsy connection it requires a second person to help hold things in place to put the darn thing together. I would not buy another one.
