This was difficult to put together. Even my very talented handyman couldn’t finish it. It’s nowhere near the other shelving units I have. I would not recommend this unit.

Good shelf unit, however i purchased same unit about 6 years ago Ana it was much sturdier. The metal is much thinner now and don’t feel as confident in the shelf

Nice shelf for the price. Solid once put together. Have to remove all four braces to adjust shelf. I mounted 2nd tier on the side. I would not put real heavy items on this.

Not as sturdy as the former Gorilla racks. Materials are noticeably thinner and the fit between pieces is way less precise. Final assembly acceptable for light/medium storage.

The shelving unit is very affordable, but that being said, you get what you pay for. The shoulder on the lower vertical angle irons is small enough that it allows the top vertical angle irons to slip pass. With three shelves in the top unit, the unit is rated for 1800 lbs. Without bolts there is no way that's going to happen.

Excellent quality of framing for this shelving, but the shelves are a bit questionable for they are not very durable as they began to chip and peel the surface covering from out of the box and it’s not very good for the showing of how it is going to be long term! I’ll probably replace with some new better quality wood for the durability instead of press board stuff!

We originally ordered 8 of these to put in our warehouse. They are amazing, a little hard to out together with one person, but my BF managed it while I was working. Many of the shelves were damaged or broken, 20 of the 48 to be exact. I called customer care and they had them replaced and delivered within the week. Im impressed with the strength and simplicity of these shelves. They look like they will last a long time. Theyvare quite heavy and sturdy. I have everything from candle making supplies to commercial food service equipment on them. I love them! We are planning to order more when we upsize our warehouse.

Quality of rack is excellent, very easy to assemble (did it by myself); only tricky part was to make sure you don't completely assemble the framework and try to install the shelves later, because this will make that job more difficult to try to maneuver them into place. It was shipped and delivered quickly, and well packaged (box was a little torn, but contents were unharmed). I like the fact that a 6-shelf unit is available (as opposed to only 5 shelves).

I bought this shelf on the early black friday sale. I was wanting the 5 tiered shelf because it looked sturdier but they were sold out so I got this one instead. I didn't read the instructions thoroughly and didn't realize 4 of the upright posts had a small groove at the end. After I got it half built I realized this and had to take it all apart and start all over. It has 8 upright posts and the cross pieces that hold the shelf in place are really made well. The upright pieces could have been made a little sturdier. To attach the top upright braces you have to attach the bottom tab of the shelf bracket in the bottom brace and the top tab into the top brace. If you dont have someone to help you this can be difficult because the top braces dont want to stay in place until you put the shelf on to keep it sturdy. The shelves themself are rather thin. I would not feel comfortable putting anything heavy on the shelves or the shelf will warp over time. Because the upright braces are in two pieces the unit is not very sturdy so don't plan on moving it once it is built. It's cheaper than me buying the lumber to build one but I would only put lightweight items on the shelf. I am using it in our garden shed so it's not a big deal. If you want something sturdier get something else.

I bought this because of the price. I guess you get what you pay for. The metal supports are flimsy and bend easily. The support bars keep popping out of the vertical bars. This is just a cheaply made item that costs too much for the low quality parts you get.
