I purchased 3 of them, the price was the biggest driver for me. Upon receiving the shelves, the assembly was easy for the bottom part, but the top portion of the shelf is totally unsafe. 1 - Instructions say to just place the second half on top of the other, but there is no way to secure the two. 2 - the shelves are about 5/16" of an inch thick, the side rails are taller than the shelf, which make it difficult to remove items from the shelf without dragging the edge/rails off in the process. 3 - the shelves are not meant to be self standing, you will need to attach them to a wall and secure in place. I have made some adjustments and spent $40 extra to make my three shelves safe in my garage.

The shelves did not fit well into the brackets. A much stronger friend of mine used a hammer to force the shelves into position. The way that the 2 sections fasten together is not nearly as secure as similar units.

We have bought more of these units than I can remember, so obviously we like them! They are great for storing just about anything! Some of our units are well over ten years old and look just as good as the new ones we just bought.

Purchased for some basement and garage shelving. They hold up well, lots of shelf space overall. I gave it a 4 because they can be very difficult to put together and 2 ppl is a must for assembly.

The edges can be sharp. I would recommend 2 person lift and assembly. If you assemble it put the feet and tops on to protect the corners first not after the whole shelf is built. Fine for the price but I wouldn't buy it for more

This shelve came with some pieces bent and tried to have it as a large stacking 1 shelf but the pieces seemed uneven and warped so I was unable to get the shelf to be just 1 shelf. Solution, 2 shelves!! Ended up working out better than I expected

Impressive weight capacity, but fragile compared to other similarly priced designs. With no "guide" to keep the two halves together and shelf supports' tendency to warp easily, I am worried about the longevity of these shelves.

Would not buy again, does not lock together, not one shelf! It's just "weighed" down on every shelf holding it together. The quality is getting worse!

Very sturdy once assembled. It will take two people to put them together. I added screws at each shelf into each support. Liked it so well i have bought 2 and planning on two more. Gave 4 stars because of difficultly in assembly.

Bought 3 shelving units. It's a two person job to put them together. The units kept coming apart. The side rails are flimsy. These shelves are good for light storage but disappointing in the quality of the construction
