Horrible Ladder

The kids love the set, but the ladder is dangerous. The arch is too high and it's hard for them to get their footing. I would never let a child climb up this ladder without adult supervision. We took it off and built our own that is Safe for children. Would not recommend buying this.

Love it! Quality set! Great directions! Well made!

We bought this playset in store at Sam's Club (April 2017). We had read a lot of reviews and were debating between this and some of the similar cedar sets (at Sam's Club and other stores) which were similar size and similar priced or a little smaller/cheaper. We ended up going with this set because it looked well made, would be sturdier than the similar cedar sets, less maintenance with no staining, should hold up better in our winters than cedar, is large enough for our kids to enjoy it beyond just their toddler years, can handle two kids swinging at the same time without it the whole set shaking, and seemed like a good value for the money. We are so glad we made the right decision and got this one!! All of those things are true so far! Our kids and their friends love it! They love the rock walls, tower, area underneath, hanging bar, swings, and the long slide! It took my father-in-law and I 9 hours 45 minutes to put it all together (with some time in there to level it all out and remove some sod). Not bad. Based on other reviews I was hoping that we could do it in between 9-10 hours, but also read some where it took them much longer, so I was happy with our time. If you are at all handy and can follow directions, I'm sure you can put it all together in around the same time frame. I give Lifetime a whole lot of credit for making the assembly as easy as possible. The directions were easy to follow with step-by-step instructions, and the parts that were organized and easy to identify (and all there!). The extra bag of misc. hardware was also nice since I lost a bolt/nut or two in the grass. I included a picture of some of the hardware packages that were included. The instructions for each section told you which package to grab and the parts that you would need. It made it so easy to know you were using the right bolts/nuts/screws with the right parts for each section. That planning really impressed me. Also, it seems like good quality hardware that will keep hold up well and keep the playset together tightly for years to come. We are really happy with this set and so glad that we chose it! Our kids are even more happy! I'll admit it was a little more than I planned to spend when we decided we'd get a playset, but I'm confident for all the reasons above that it will be well worth it! Highly recommended!!

Awesome Playset

We just put this playset together this past weekend. It took us about 10 hours total. My husband put it together mostly alone and I helped him for some of the more difficult things that he couldn't do alone. A lot of people said this would take a loooong time to put together but we had a power allen key that attached to our drill that we used instead of the manual allen key provided...do yourself a favor and buy one for this install. We saved a ton of time and actually had fun putting this together. If you accidentally put something on wrong it takes 3 seconds of unscrewing instead of 5 minutes doing it manually. Thank goodness my husband is handy. We had a yellow slide from a different playset that we attached onto the back of this set so now we have two slides! Beware-the green slide gets HOT in the sun! Place the set in a shady area if possible. Our son is 2 and he will enjoy this for years to come. It is build to last. We thought about getting a wood set but they rot and do not stand up to the elements as well. With this set being all plastic and metal, it should last a long time. It feels like a set that would be on a public playground and those are built to last.

Very good

We bought this a week ago and just set it up. My husband did it in 10 hours or so. The instructions were good for the most part- except where the screw names were off. One thing that made it easy to identify the mislabeled screws is that the screws are organized based on sections being built. So even if they are mislabeled, the image usually matches screws found in the same sections. Couple of holes needed predrilling. But overall not bad as we saved quiet a bit on installation fees and were able to do it ourselves. The only part you need some muscle is the installation of the circular roof. I took out one star for the instructions but other than that is a good product and kids love it. Time will say how well the last.

My husband and I were able to build this! Everything came in and fit together.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well, it's up and it's in use. My kids 3-9 love and use every part of it (except we are not using the fire pole). The manual was effective, only a few pieces were not stickered with there letter code to indicate we had the correct part for the next step, which we could easily figure out. There was tons of plastic wrap on everything, but this was important to keeping the coating from scratching off, so necessary. I love that we got this product. My 9 yr old can stand in the center of the tower, however there is lots of ducking to get into the upper and lower zones. The sturdiness is what we wanted and so far we expect it will be for many years...tbd.

LOVE IT

Our kids LOVE this playset! It gets played on ALL the time. LIKES... The swings and the plastic coated swing chains. Fun climbing wall. The road for playing with cars on the floor on the tower. Love the visually pleasing general aesthetics of this playset. It looks good in the backyard. DISLIKES... The slide is a little fast. The grass in the circle dyes and the kids don't really go in there. ASSEMBLY... Was tricky, especially the roof. And this is coming from a Mechanical Engineer. Two days to assemble, so if you are not mechanically inclined it would be a good idea to pay to have Lifetime assemble it.

Plenty of Fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My grandson recently had the opportunity to play on this playset at our neighborhood church playground. He is four and was thrilled with all of the activities. He especially like, and wanted, the fort. My son plans to purchase a playset for him soon.

Good solid playset, but could be improved.

Really 4.5 stars, a few suggestions before you tackle this. Pay extra close attention when installing the floor and triple check you have the right orientation. This will be evident by the divots on the floor to attach the slide and climbing rails being in the proper locations. The youtube video is a wonderful resource so be sure to utilize it. I put this set together by myself and it took about 20 hours, however there is a step or two where you absolutely need an extra hand. Also lifetime only provides two ground stakes which is not sufficient. Go ahead and get 6 extra to secure every pole to really make the set secure. These really should be included for the price of this set. Also, if you do not have a battery impact wrench go ahead and get one to build this set. The instructions list that a drill is sufficient but the impact wrench is much better for securing nuts and bolts. In the video they use an impact wrench also.

Amazing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a week ago, and it's amazing. My kid loves it! I did break a few bolts putting it together, called customer service, and they had more sent out to me. A couple days shipping, but ended up not using them all. Great service overall by everyone I interacted with. It did take a few days to put together.
