We assembled this in September. Within days, several metal bars started to rust and the metal coating began to fall off. Customer service offered to send replacement bars but it would take me around 30 hours to disassemble and reassemble. I am incredibly disappointed with the quality of this set given the price and for the fact that Lifetime is not doing more to help given that I was sold a defective product.

We have had this set since May 2014. I got it for my kids and grandkids. My 17 year old and her friends play on it. My 24 year old autistic sonenjoys his time on it as well. My 6 1/2 year old visually impaired (and short for her age) child loves it as well. She hasn't had any problems navigating the equipment since we did hand over hand to orient her. The 4 year old grandson has learned to move like a monkey at the zoo and we are shopping for a bucket infant/toddler swing for the 7 month old to start joining in the fun. Nothing takes the place of adult supervision and guidance. My oldest daughter and I put it together ourselves. It took a while since we had the help of my autistic son. It supports all sizes and needs of our household and even gives the teens (and adults) a place to get back in touch with their inner child. We bought this to accommodate his size as well as give room for the others to grow and play.

I bought this place it for my grandchildren. They love it however they can only play with it early in the morning. When it's cooler outside . The slide gets very hot when the sun is out. I'm afraid they are going to burn there butts. I have contacted the manufacturer about this issue and the don't care. There solution was to put the swing set in a shaded area. I have no shade in my yard.

Just finished the build Steps 1-4 took me 13hrs to do I only had the assistance of my wife for a few pieces, but the rest I did by myself. Steps 5-6 took 3hrs. Kids are having a blast playing on it. Things to note during the build: I think it is step 5 or 6 that tells you to drill the holes for the slide and ladder you want to do this earlier because 2 of the drill spots will be hard to maneuver the drill, because of the cross bar support. So when you are drilling the holes onto of the base of the play structure I would also turn to the future step and drill the holes for the ladder and slide. Other then that make sure you have the 3/8ths drill bit, I had to drive to the store because it was the only one I was missing.

I was hoping this playset would last at least a few years until our son grew out of it. Unfortunately, a good portion of the set is rusted after less than 2 years. With the design, things such as the ladder have only a thin piece of metal connecting them to the set. That area rusted, and the ladder fell completely off. Initially, I wasn't concerned because there's a warranty on the set. However, it has been over 4 months with parts being out of stock, etc. to fulfill the warranty request we made. The tower portion of the set is unusable at this point because there is no ladder, and several of the areas to climb up are rusted and falling apart. I'd expect the construction, coating, etc. on these parts to be much better, but apparently they aren't made for climates like Florida's.

I bought and self assembled this set a couple of months ago. It is built very well with quality components; sturdier than I expected. The assembly took me a weekend and it was a little challenging at times and I am not a novice. I have numerous power tools that made the job easier and quicker, but I also did it alone. Ideally its a 2 person job for one entire day. It is a great playset that should last for at least 15+ years. My three kids ages 2, 9 and 12 love it and have thoroughly put it to the test. We had a dozen kids of various ages all over it 2 weeks ago for a birthday party and it held up well - not a scratch. The playset is sturdy enough to hold me and my wife too. I highly recommend this playset; its an especially great value at under $1,000 (I'd even pay $1,500 for it).

We have owned out adventure tower playset for over a year now and all of our swings and bolts are rusted. It looks like our set has been sitting outside for 20 years already. If I could go back I wouldn't waste my money. It seems like a nice sturdy set at first, especially for the price we paid. Turns out you just pay for the brand.

We bought this set for our grandkids. Nana and Papa put it together (need epsom salts, pain reliever and icy hot)…FYI…get some younger folks to help. Here are a few tips we found that might make your life easier…#1 Make sure you get the tower support together correctly….read the instructions …watch the video and then do it again. If you have that tower support (looks like a large stop sign) put together correctly….everything should go together well (somehow we got ours wrong and we did have dimples facing down as per instruction..but we figured it out) Just make sure you look it all over good, even go so far as to have another set of eyes look it over and insure that it is all correct before proceeding. #2 make sure you orient yourself with the pics in the manual and how you currently have the swing set up….makes a huge difference. ours went up opposite manual. #3 Make sure you have 3-4 people to help with the tower roof, particularly if you try to put this up with any kind of wind. #4 Can't stress this enough….verify the hardware needed / locate it / verify again. Most of the instructions were pretty good…all hardware were clearly marked….the videos were very helpful. After all was said and done….seeing the smiles on the kids faces made it all worthwhile….would I buy again? YEP in a heartbeat. Ask us later if we would put it up again ourselves :) We are still recovering

The Sam's Club Adventure Tower is not the same model you get when you purchase one from other retail outlets. The Sam's Club version has a flimsy roof which is made from lighter, thinner material. Also, the long metal poles must be manually spliced together on the Sam's Club model whereas they come in one continuous piece on a non-Sam's Club model.

Great set for the money. Took me 11 hours to install by myself. 2 guys could do it in 8 hours easily. A couple of tips. 1. Unpack everything and get it organized first. 2. Find the instructions and immediately throw them away. Go to the Lifetime website and download the correct instructions. They send outdated instructions in their kits with wrong part numbers. 3. Before inserting bolts, test connect them with the corresponding nut. Many damaged threads had to be corrected.
