This was the perfect BTU size to supplement our central air conditioner in a second floor 12x20 bedroom. At $179, it was a real bargain and I purchased the extended warranty. It’s quiet and works great!

So far this is a good air conditioner, On low speed it is quieter then my old one. I got this BTU to make sure it would take care of the room I put it in. The evening sun makes it very hot it this room.

Came in with some minor cosmetic damages (cracked front panel plastic. I covered it up with the white tape that was already on the ac. Tons of weather strip and securing brackets. I never need it on high fan speed so it is pretty quiet. The AC has Led's, but the remote does not.

I bought this AC about a month ago. I have a central unit that is about 10 years old.During the hottest part of Summer it runs constantly so I put this in the window to help. Besides, if the central unit goes out I want to have some type of backup ready. I put it in the living room and I keep the rooms closed off that I don't use. It's cooling about 450 sq ft adequately (with a Little help from the central unit). it's working great with the exception of the filter light staying on for some reason sfter I cleaned it.

Returned it, too noisy for a room that you are supposed to sleep in. Cools very well . Apart from the compressor noise (when cooling) there was some annoying sound like the fan was brushing onto something - happened on low speeds. Pros: cooling ability, easy installation, features (Eco mode works well), easy access to the filter, not too heavy. Cons: Noise when compressor is on, fan brushing onto something on low speed, Timer is either for On or Off - you can't set both at the same time (I checked some other conditioners and they have the same problem, I guess this is an industry standard).

Ive only had it for about a month currently so I cant comment on longevity. As far as what I can comment on. The unit has a very sleek, clean look to it. The remote is small and does what it needs to. It cools a nice size master bedroom easily and as far as air conditioners go it is somewhat quite. I am happy with the purchase and would do it again.

I purchased this air conditioner for my bedroom window and offered to buy one for my sons room. He assured me that he didn't need or want one, so I didn't buy one for him. Well, we had a real heat spell when it came and he was having a hard time sleeping. I offered him mine, and he gladly accepted it. He loved it. Has needed and used it everyday since. I went ahead and ordered another one just like it for my room. Love them both. Been sleeping like a baby

I was looking for an energy efficient, quiet window air conditioner. And this one has exceeded my expectations so far. It keeps my room nice and cool, and shuts off when the room has reached the desired temperature. It is so quiet that I found myself going over to ensure that it was still running in the beginning. I am very happy with this purchase.

This is a very good air conditioner for the price. It quickly cools a small room, although it is a little on the loud side, and has a lot of unexpected nice features for the price (remote control, sleep feature, countdown, humidifier, etc). It is very heavy for it’s size and a little difficult to install in a small window, however. Would definitely recommend it.
