I am impressed by the heavy duty metal frame to which the feeder is attached. Mounting with the metal frame gives me confidence in the feeders durability. The plastic feeder also seems heavy duty as it's thicker plastic that does not seem like it will deteriorate easy. This feeder promises to last a long time. Likewise, the camera is heavy duty and durable, it's not a low quality camera that will lose functionality over a few seasons. The dual camera capability is very cool! To capture the full perch and bird activity along with tracking the close up detail of a bird present is very cool and pleasant to see! The seed hopper or holder is a little small, I'll likely be refilling with seed often. The solar panel has been working well and is super thin and light so finding a place to mount it was easy. I wish the perch had included a humming bird feeder attachment as well as the standard perch. The included bird identification AI with the feeders sold at Sam's Club is an incredible bonus!!! This is our second Birdfy camera. We have the Birdfy Bamboo Feeder camera and have loved it. It has far exceeded our expectations. I purchased our first camera as a gift for my family member and they have enjoyed seeing the birds it captures everyday. It's an unexpected plus to monitor activity in the area as well. This review includes a picture taken with the older model camera! The new dual camera system is even more impressive!

Installation was a breeze — I had the camera mounted, connected, and streaming in just a few minutes. The HD video quality is stunning; you can literally see each feather and tiny movement, even at dusk or on cloudy days. The built-in bird recognition is surprisingly smart and accurate, instantly telling you which species has stopped by without needing to open a book or app. It turns everyday bird-watching into an interactive, high-tech experience that feels fresh and exciting. With its sleek design and fun, educational features, this camera is an outstanding Christmas gift for bird lovers, families, and anyone who enjoys a cozy backyard.

Great concept with poor execution. Bought the device for a Christmas gift, and was hoping to set it up quickly before we had to leave. so first be prepared for 10 hour charging . Next, if you only have 5GHz wifi, it will not work. Finally, the item was defective, and would get back to me within 48 hours for a replacement process, time that we did not have.

I ordered this for a holiday gift for my mother in law. She has been so excited about getting a bird feeder! This one has a really great quality camera and the solar panel works perfectly. I've loved mine so much I can't wait to gift this one to her. It's amazing how many birds you will find that visit you. Ive compared a lot of different bird cameras since I've had mine, but this is by far my favorite. Definitely winning holiday this year!

The Birdfy 2 Pro is my favorite camera bird feeder! It's really fun to use and setup was easy. I am really impressed with the image quality. It's well made and seems very durable. The app identifies birds, and I love sharing my pictures and videos. This would make a great gift for any bird lover!

I've had the Birdfy yellow feeder for a year now and have loved it--so much so I bought one for my parents too! Seeing birds come and go with the seasons and figuring out which birds visit most often is a joy, and helps you feel more connected to the environment around you. Now that I've upgraded to the pro, I can get even more detailed views, and the AI recognition is great--there is a mis-identification every now and again, but with the number of birds coming through at times, that's a minor inconvenience and you're able to submit feedback. I also have the birdfy pole, and it's fantastic--I have only had one squirrel make it to the feeder over the year. Highly recommended!

The Birdfy Solar Powered Bird Feeder 2 Pro with AI Camera has been such a great addition to our yard. It was *incredibly easy to set up*—from mounting it to connecting the app, everything only took a few minutes. The solar power feature means I never have to worry about charging it, which is a huge bonus. The best part is how **fun it is to see all the birds that visit our yard**. The AI camera captures clear, beautiful videos and even identifies different species for us. We've discovered birds we didn't even know visited our area! It's become a daily joy to check the app and see who stopped by. Highly recommend this feeder for anyone who loves nature, bird-watching, or just wants a unique and delightful way to enjoy their outdoor space.

This is my second Birdfy feeder. I bought this Solar Powered Bird Feeder 2 Pro with AI Camera because I love the app with the video clips and bird identification. It's so fun and interesting to see the birds that visit my yard throughout the year. The feeder is high quality, hold up to weather and rain, the solar panel keeps the battery charged so I never have to worry about charging. I love to share my camera feed with family members so that they can see what is happening at my feeder too. Well designed product with great technology. Highly recommended.

I was a fan of the Birdfy project last year, using their standard feeder. This year, I decided to upgrade to the Birdfy Solar Powered Bird Feeder 2 Pro with AI Camera, and I am absolutely delighted! The main reason for the upgrade was the improved camera and auto-navigation/auto-zoom feature, and they have completely delivered. The 2K video quality is superb, allowing me to see feather details I missed before. My kids and I love sitting down to watch the birds, and the auto-zoom makes viewing their behavior up close so much more engaging. And of course, besides the camera, you have the comfortable and fun application. I love that I can easily store my rare type sightings or best highlights. The app provides excellent summaries and reviews of my birdwatching activity for the day, month, and year. It's a complete package that tracks my backyard bird visits! If you are thinking about upgrading from the standard version, I highly recommend the Pro. The high camera quality and the convenient app features make it well worth it!

The solar panel will not charge the camera when it gets cold. We got ours as a Christmas present. The first few days, it was warm enough for the camera to charge. Then it turned cold, and the camera stopped charging. I contacted Birdfy support, and they even sent a new solar panel. It was warm the two days after the new solar panel arrived, and the camera charged from the solar panel. It turned cold several days ago, and the camera stopped charging. It took 1/2 hour in the house to start charging last night. The manual says, "When charging, both the ambient temperature and the camera temperature should be above 32° F (0° C). If the camera has been exposed to low temperatures for an extended period, it should be brought back to room temperature before changing." If you live somewhere that it gets cold, plan on bringing the camera in to charge. Also, the AI bird identification is pathetic. It does not take into account where you live. The ranges of Mountain or Black Capped Chickadees are nowhere near where we live; however, it keeps misidentying Carolina Chickadees as Mountain or Black Capped Chickadees. Instead of using their AI, you are better off taking a screenshot and then using the Merlin app for identification.
