The Birdfy 2 Pro is an awesome camera based bird feeder. I have registered up to 175 bird visits per day with it and found it's AI to be very good at identifying birds! If you're looking to find out what's in your backyard this will certainly increase your knowledge and fun with respect to backyard birding! Holds more food than I expected so I don't have to fill it all the time.

Absolute crap! Seriously, just completely a piece of crap. They used the cheapest thinnest plastic you can imagine. Not only would not hold up the squirrels attacking it, . It doesn't hold up to birds Yet another $200 disposable item and the water fountain is also a piece of crap, too. I bought both of them. The quality is just a joke and they're trying to sell that tiny thing for $300 now. Birdfly products suck, don't buy them.

The solar panel will not charge the camera when it gets cold. We got ours as a Christmas present. The first few days, it was warm enough for the camera to charge. Then it turned cold, and the camera stopped charging. I contacted Birdfy support, and they even sent a new solar panel. It was warm the two days after the new solar panel arrived, and the camera charged from the solar panel. It turned cold several days ago, and the camera stopped charging. It took 1/2 hour in the house to start charging last night. The manual says, "When charging, both the ambient temperature and the camera temperature should be above 32° F (0° C). If the camera has been exposed to low temperatures for an extended period, it should be brought back to room temperature before changing." If you live somewhere that it gets cold, plan on bringing the camera in to charge. Also, the AI bird identification is pathetic. It does not take into account where you live. The ranges of Mountain or Black Capped Chickadees are nowhere near where we live; however, it keeps misidentying Carolina Chickadees as Mountain or Black Capped Chickadees. Instead of using their AI, you are better off taking a screenshot and then using the Merlin app for identification.

Works better than expected. Video is very sharp and you get really good pictures. Love that it comes with a small solar panel so you never need to charge the camera. The AI identification feature is nice but doesn't work all the time. Highly recommend this feeder/camera

I purchased this for my husband and after setting it up yesterday we've had a blast finding out which species of birds frequent our feeders I can't recommend this enough!

I have a couple other Birdfy feeders, but this one is my new favorite! Great design and the pictures and videos are clear and crisp. Love the close-ups. Very easy to set up and the solar panel is a big plus! So much fun watching the backyard birds up close. There was an issue with one part when I received it, but Birdfy customer service was absolutely fantastic and quickly sent a replacement part. Highly recommend!!

No wiring, no complex instructions, no frustration. If you enjoy nature, want easy set up and / or love clever, low maintenance gadgets this delivers.

I really love this bird feeder. The camera gives me a clear video of the birds visiting my feeder and I like the fact that I can hear them chirping as they sit at the feeder. I liked it so much that I bought one for each of my adult children. We have all of them linked together so we can see what birds visit each of our feeders. It has even captured a deer having a snack. The bird identification is good although sometimes it does identify the bird incorrectly. That is the only reason I did not give it five stars. I think any bird watcher would be happy with this bird feeder!
