The console is slick, fast and exactly what I was looking for as an upgrade to my base ps4. some of the UI choices will take time to get used to, but I am happy with my purchase. I was lucky enough to secure a console during the March 4th drop. It was projected to be delivered a month and a half later (likely just a placeholder) but it was delivered 9 days after I placed the order, which was nice. My ps5 faceplates have dark spots on the exterior middle portion of each plate, which is annoying, but it likely due to the plastic molding process and I am not overly concerned about it. I've ordered matte black dbrand plates to replace them anyway. I would rate the console 4.5/5 due to the plate issue.

First of all. I would like to thank Wal-Mart for letting me secure a PLAYSTATION 5 out of all stores I thought Best Buy or target would get me one, but both sold out immediately and stayed sold out. Kudos 100 to you Wal-Mart. Finally the ps5 console is amazing!! Its fast, beautiful. Everything you want in a console. For those that havent gotten one Im routing for all of you!! Im blessed and thank god and mother who passed on for blessing me with happiness with something like this.

Can't defeat the bots and scalpers. I blame Sony and not walmart, enriching scalpers to make a huge profit margins. Of course, I blame the same D_umb people willing to pay $1000 for this system lol .... After Christmas, everything will become normal and I hope these scalpers can't get rid of their excessive inventory.

Ordered on September 18th, it arrived 6pm November 12th. The scalpers are crazy now. The system is as awesome as the reviews say. It comes with the console controls and all the necessary cords. I strongly suggest you get playstation plus, they are running an offer for 18 free games just for having a PS5. All of my PS4 hard drive and disk games works on it (the ps4 controller works on the ps5 for ps4 games only)

good console, great for someone who is Ballin on a budget, but sony only made 5 so good luck. the best advice save and get a mid-range pc for a similar performance and it'll last longer anyway. my ps5 broke a month and a half in so I would wait another 6 months or so to let sony work out the problems of the console.

There has to be a better way to manage the sale of PS5, to block bots, that are buying and selling at 2x the sell price. All I was is the give my grandsons a great Christmas, but the Grinchs in the world live up to their reputation by stealing Christmas from all the children across the world.

I successfully got my PS5 after waiting 8 hours to get one on December 15th. I got it 11 days later, and was so excited to actually have one of these after a month and more. There have been some errors but they have been fixed quickly and patiently. I love my new PlayStation5 and I'm lucky I was one of the people to actually get one than the 20 million bots and scalpers.

Everyone agrees that the launch could have gone leagues better than it did, but from everything I've seen, it is a solid system. If I could buy it off here, I would absolutely do so. However, there is no way to protect from all those scalpers and even then, stock is limited.

Come on Sony!!!! This system is RIDICULOUS hard to get a hold of! If been staying up till 12 each night to try and get one and I have not been able to even seen the in stock sign! Make more please! I would give it a 5 star rating if they were easier to get. Sony I know you can do better! The PS4 was easier to get! Sony please make more

This is an Amazing Console. I recommend this to everyone. It is as fast as a pc if not faster for the price it is. I have built my own pc which was $2000 and these consoles in 8 years will be as fast as it. I have it 1 star because the box came all ripped up. The service there was awful as well. 5 stars for the console but 1 star for Walmart.
