I have tried over and over to order this game but several times Walmart has allowed it to go in my cart to purchase and when i get ready to pay it says out of stock. I did the same thing all day!! But i read other comments where someone said they ordered 2 game systems!! Really? I don't believe Walmart really has any!! A waste of my all day trying. Hopefully my grandson will have this by Christmas

I love how fast I get my orders from Walmart and this console is no difference I was told I'd get it may 27th but I ordered it on the 5th by the 7th I saw it changed to the 10th but my son heard a delivery being made on the 9th and there she was wrapped up perfectly and came out the box working just fine now I have both next gen consoles all thanks to Walmart as you can tell I'm stoked

The PS5 should not have been released last year. Sony should have waited to work out the issues first. Depending on what you'll be using your PS5 for, it could be fine, but for any backwards compatibility, it is best to wait until the next model comes out or for a firmware update. If you use an external hard drive for PS4 games, the PS5 will undoubtedly have issues indexing all the games on it whenever restarting. My 6TB external hard drive takes somewhere around a half hour for the PS5 to recognize all the games on it, and while it does so, the PS5 interface is also sluggish and unresponsive. This is unacceptable. I switched my PSVR back to the PS4 and will only use the PS5 for PS5 games, which is a shame. Recently, the system decided to restart twice in a row while watching a YouTube video and said the hard drive database needed to be rebuilt. For a few times after this issue, I was greeted with the same database rebuilding message when starting the system up again. This is when I gave up on anything PS4 for my PS5. Best to stick with generation specific titles for now.

Most of the reviews on this are from people who just haven't been able to get their hands on the console, and while I agree that the way Sony launched the Ps5 was the one of worst in recent memory, patience is a virtue. I have found nothing but joy in this console and you will feel the same way, just pay no attention to the 1 star spammers who are sour about the poor launch.

I was on the fence about this because there aren't really any exclusives that I desperately want to play, but I took a gamble and it's pretty fantastic. The lack of load times is absolutely magical and the new haptics and triggers on the controller are legitimately a game-changer. If you can snag one, do it.

The system is great it had its new bugs but with all tech now-a-days these things can be easily fixed by a software update. (Which has been in place already) the system is great runs games from ps4 (most of them) and new ps5 titles are to continue to come. Don't let these reviews fool you. A Lot of the people are just upset because of the difficulty of purchasing or getting one is really hard to come by. But I mean come on it's next gen now of course it's going to be hard and it's on the holidays! Now just be patient more will come. Overall at this moment no cons.

Lifetime gamer since the Atari 2600. This console is amazing. The controller is an evolutionary step forward. The games are just fun to play. Don't let tech specs get in your head, does it have a lot of fun games? Yes. Every time I play Im smiling and say, Did you see that?! Or, that was amazing!

Wouldve liked a little more transparency about the shipping, but was very surprised when it showed up on time. Just finished Astros Playroom. Sony paid an incredible amount of attention to detail. The X Box may be a little more powerful, but PS5 is going to provide the better experience and immersion in its games. Paired with the Pulse 3D headset, it really helps pull you in.

Resellers are using bots to purchase all of the inventory up before any of us are able to make a purchase. Like one other person said. Supply and demand. Wait this out and you'll get your gaming system. Leave the scalpers with thousands of dollars worth of gaming systems with nobody to buy them.

PS5 greatest system yet. It would be nice if the scalpers stopped buying these system's before anyone else got a chance and selling them for twice as much money as they cost. Oh wait is Walmart helping them sell these for twice MSRP. Glad to see Walmart helping to keep scalpers from purchasing systems on their site, while helping scalpers sell the systems on their site.
