Some bugs like minor crashes or downloading issues but it's as good as you'd imagine. It's not insanely revolutionary or as absolutely essential but worth getting if you can manage to snag one. Imagine a PS4 Pro Pro Pro Pro with updated UI. Super fast loading when launching and downloading games and buttery smooth 60fps with great resolution. Genuinely no complaints but it's essentially a better means of playing the same thing. Regardless, snag one if you can, it's worth it imo

First off, this thing is massive. I've been following it for a long time, knew the dimensions of it, and still underestimated just how large it is. Luckily it still fit in my current center (barely). setup was straight forward. I would recommend not running an internet speed test on the console while transferring files from the ps4. This canceled my transfer and starting it again manually was a bit of a chore since it is buried in the settings. All of my tv settings were recognized by the console and set automatically. I would recommend double checking that your tv is in game mode though since that is not automatically triggered. The default game controller settings are a godsend for an inverted player like myself. No more changing every game the first time I boot up. I would suggest everybody to look through all the settings when you first boot up. There are some legitimately useful options there To address any quality issues that have shown up on the internet; In the 3 days of ownership I have had one short black screen issue, where it appeared to lose connection with the tv while playing astrobot. it lasted for a few seconds, and then recovered just fine. I have not had an issue with putting it in rest mode or with hearing coil whine as others have reported. I'm really enjoying the feature set of the console, the controller is fun and adds a little extra to the games that I have played so far. In my opinion it is not the game changer that others have touted, but does provide a nice surprise from time to time that makes me smile. 3D audio on the other hand I feel like has been undersold by a lot of reviewers. With my PlayStation platinum headphones, it really has put me in awe sometimes. A few times I have just put my controller down while in game to listen to all of the different sounds. Storage is a bit of an issue, but mostly with ps4 games that I have brought over. transferring over my mostly full 500gb ps4 hard drive created a mostly full ps5 hard drive. It seems like PS5 games may be smaller than advertised on the box. Demon's Souls states 66gb of storage on the box, but when I installed it was only taking up 30 gb of space. So that was a pleasant surprise. Overall I would say if you've been thinking about getting one to get it when availability frees up. My condolences to those who want to and can't, I was lucky to find myself in the right place at the right time during the first pre-order rush, but have tried to help friends to do the same with absolutely no success.

I am so happy I was able to get my hands on one of these! It's a fantastic console with incredible power. Games like Spider-man and Demon Soul's look very real and run smooth on this console. It's definitely worth the price. There is a wide range of Playstation exclusive games on here that makes getting this console worth it even if you already own a different one.

My son loves this system. The graphic are astonishing. Such high definition. Everything looks so realistic. On a 3D television this system is awesome. I love how the gameplay look on many of the games. We haven't been able to play most of them due to the fact schools back in session, but I'm sure the rest will be as impressive as the ones we've played. I started trying to purchase the system 11/12/2020, couldn't get it until 12/07/2020, and it was definitely worth the long nights, and standing in line all night to purchase. Lol. Thanks Walmart!

Excellent system, specs on par with PCs especially for the 500 dollar price point. Controller that really makes the case of a next gen experience. Launch titles slim at the moment but the games on the horizon should be amazing. While wal mart was a little better than some other retailers at obtaining one of these, the way all of them enable scalpers is unacceptable. Add some captcha on extremely high demand items and earn yourself some customer trust for future purchases.

Great console. From the new ps5's ui to the controller. The haptic feedback from the controller is insanely nice. It makes me want to keep vibrations on in games, unlike the ps4's dualshock 4 controller. The controller also can put out audio from party members instead of the audio being played from TV screen with the ps4. Also a manual mute button is so clutch with the ps4. The UI update is so beautiful, they included playtime on games, hints on trophy achievements to help getting trophies, sign ins with the playstation app. There's just so much new useful stuff with the new UI. For me being able to sign in with through the playstation app makes it so much easier. I had trouble with remembering my password on the ps4 and would often get locked out from online play because of password troubles but now I can just use the app to sign in to the console. Overall a great machine and a total uplift from the PS4.

I was very fortunate and surprised that I was able to catch a Walmart restock before last Christmas. The first few attempts were disastrous. I love the console. There are still some random crashing issues for a few games but for the most part it's pretty smooth. Very much looking forward to the part of the console life when developers really take advantage of the power of the console and they DualSense features. Really hoping that more consoles are going to gamers and not greedy scalpers.

Great console. The ordering process wasn't as fun since it went super fast but was able to secure one the 3rd time it was available for purchase. As for the console, its huge, but it is fast, games look good and excited to see what it will mature into.

Everything about the PS5 screams “improving upon what we have”. From the streamlined UI, the fast loading, and the Controller based haptic feedback. The PS5 is limited by its time. Hopefully people will be able to get one soon, because everyone should experience this: old and new gamers alike.

I always buy every console at launch -- it's what I enjoy doing. The PS5 is by far the best new console experience I've ever had and is the clear place to enjoy the next generation of games. I know demand is outstripping supply by a LOT right now, but I look forward to more people being able to get their hands on theirs.
