It literally is silent almost all the time through the day. The fps is different on most games but the big difference is actual looks such as the resolution. The controller is also amazing for story games and other games as well. The only down side is it is very hard to get.

Love it, Love it, LOVE IT!! It is great! Got this for myself and definitely was worth the trying so far. Game play has been pretty easy. Overall display is great. Love the backwards playing compatibility. It is pretty bulky in size, but overall everything is as I expected.

By far the best Playstation I've ever put my hands on. Very sleek futuristic design. It's much different to actually see in person. I can't wait for more games to be released. The graphics are insane, the loading times are phenomenal. Can't wait til this next generation of gaming is full swing!

I've had the PS5 For about 9 months now and, as far as the disc console goes, I'm super happy with it. I have access to all my PS4 games and their data which is nice considering I owned that system for 7 years. Some games even upgraded and allowed free download of the PS5 version of my games. The ability to play 4K discs is awesome not only for games, but movies as well. Gaming in 4K (using the 65” Sony Bravia TV which I highly recommend) is amazing and makes the games more enjoyable. User friendliness is great other than party chat navigation which could be more accessible in my opinion. The main reason I'm giving 4/5 stars is because the triangle button on my DualSense controller is completely unresponsive after 9 months of use. If the controllers cost $70 for users to replace I'd expect the product to be more durable and reliable. The other (not so important) reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the console is absolutely massive. Granted, I got the disc version but it's still massive. It doesn't fit horizontally in any of my entertainment stands so it has to stand vertically next to the stand on the floor. Despite these issues I'm still in love with the new PS5 and I can't wait to see more new amazing games.

Best Christmas present to myself 2020 had my ps4 for 6 years so here's to another 6 with this beauty. Absolutely love the controller it's their best one yet. Console plays at a beautiful 4K and most games have a performance mode to get 60fps which I highly recommend. Ray tracing looks beautiful and SSD is very fast. Highly recommend for the price I recently got a gaming laptop for almost three times this price and it barely has more tflops, I prefer my ps5. Oh and it plays all of my old ps4 games digital and physical since I got the disc version

Very happy I was finally able to purchase this console and I'm very happy giving 5 stars, but not very happy with the overall system itself, the console constantly has problems loading and what not. On the other side it's a very clean visually and I'm overall pretty happy with it.

Amazing console! Ordered on 12/15/20 and arrived on 12/23/20. We've been playing Miles Morales for a couple of hours and this is truly next-gen. The controller, the console, the graphics - everything is next-gen. And, a tip to secure a ps5 through walmart online - have the ps5 in your cart before a ps5 drop and be ready - when the time comes and the console drops, head straight to your cart and you'll easily get the console.

I love that the quality that Sony provides is impeccable and well thought out. Graphics are amazing and the console its self is very very nice. I love that I managed to get one and not a bot, the controller is also very well designed with ground breaking 3d audio. If you are going to get a next-gen console please consider the playstation.

Really liked that my ps5 came in quite fast, like in less than a week! Though if you're wondering if the console is good, I would say it's pretty good for now. The dual sense features are really amazing and interesting. Can't wait till future games develop creative ways of using the dual sense features and incorporate that into gameplay. Though as of now, there are hardly any notable “must buy” games for the ps5, but hopefully in the near future this console will truly shine. Overall it's a pretty great console and definitely an upgrade from the ps4. Personally( in my opinion), the dualsense controller really makes/greatly contributes to feeling of a next gen console such as the ps5.

The dual sense controller is amazing. Hopefully, third party developers will implement its features to their games. The menu system is more organized than the ps4 menu. The new games load extremely fast and ps4 games load faster and some will now run in 4K. If you have the psvr, make sure you save a ps4 controller because the vr needs the light bar on the old controller. Otherwise, the ps5 controller works on the ps4 games. Also the psvr will lower the resolution to 1080p so you will have to disconnect the hdmi wires from the psvr to get 4K again.
