This system is more amazing than I couldve imagined. Its super fast loading games and the controller is the best I have ever used. The next gen graphics to me are impressive. Some say its not a major jump but I feel that its definitely noticeable and impressive

Great console, quiet for the most part and the games look great. My only complaints are that Sony does not have too many AAA exclusives I like available right now and the internal storage is a bit low. So if anyone is holding off on purchasing until more exclusive games become available, it may be best to hold off. If that is not a concern, go for it. You will enjoy this console and the content that will be coming with it.

Was lucky to get one and I will tell you The system is beautiful and performs flawless! Every Ps4 game is able to be played with no issues! Plays and loads quick! To every negative review posted, They are Playstation haters and will never give credit to Sony since they play on the other platforms. The system is big, close to a mid size gaming PC, but it just shows the power potential this thing has. My one recomendation would be an external HD, I went with The WD Black 8TB 7200rpm external HD, The stock drive will fill quickly especially with updates and HD Games, Example COD cold War almost is 400Gb!!

This is the first PlayStation Console that we have had and the initial hooking up and start up for this unit was easy and quick. The instruction manual that came with the console was clear, concise and easy to understand. After a short check for any updates and having those updates downloaded and installed the game was ready to play. This particular console seems to be very user friendly and easy to play. The remote control unit is nothing like we've seen or used in the past (xbox family.) All in all this gaming console really has exceeded expectations. Well done Sony! As for Walmart, and this purchase, other than having such a hard time scoring the console because of it's demand being so high the store came through in quick order. I was given a delivery date of no later than January 9, yet the item came to us on December 27th. Now that's what I call great customer service.

I was able to buy it about 10 days ago. All I can tell you if you want it is to be patient, I follow accounts on twitter that give alerts when the consoles are available in different stores so that could help you. I know it's super hard to get it but just be patient and try your best! I have no regrets about the console, my little brother was so happy when we gave him the surprise. The graphics are awesome, and it's a very powerful machine.

I went from a early release PS4 that was on its last leg to a PS5, Its light years faster. The haptics in the controller are amazing. Shipped super fast and got it in a couple days. I was one of the lucky ones that grabbed it during one of the timed drops. PlayStation and the retailers could of done a better job with supply and demand of the product.

This thing is a beast! The dual sense controller makes all the difference in the world for this machine and give you the sense of truly next gen gameplay! Although my delivery was delayed due to the winter storm, i was finally able to enjoy the PS5. i just wish that we could upgrade the memory or at least use extenal memory to play my exising library from, but all in all, I love this system.

Great addition to the PS Family. User interface is smooth but very similar to last Generation. Load times are a plus if you are running current PS4 games on this console. Not many games are using 120Hz yet so can't talk much about that. Where the console shines is the Dual Sense Controller. This is truly next gen depending on what games you are playing. Only downside is that there is not many next Gen games available and we all already know that. Been very lucky with no glitches or launch issues with my console. Sony been doing a good job with patches so that helps.

Arrived quicker then expected, shipping box was a smidge damaged but coming from cali to Illinois is to be expected. PS5 box its self was in great shape. Works great, plays great. Husband was SUPER excited to have it for his birthday! Price beat out everyone else's that I had viewed. I was a little worried considering I had read the 1 star reviews but figured I would bite the bullet considering I was buying it through Walmart and would have that buyer protection. Would def. do again.

While being lucky enough to snag one, our family had tried ALL day, on 4 different devices. The very last time slot is when one order finally confirmed. That said, after some gameplay and additions, it's nice but is buggy. I also purchased Turtle beach headphones for the best audio experience, the Camera, and additional controller, a charging docking station for the controllers, a Driving Force Racing Wheel and A 2TB PS Hard Drive. There are simply NOT ENOUGH ports obviously for everything to be used at once so I'll likely need a USB port hub. Why am I mentioning all of the additional items, because unless you have a port hub, you won't be able to use everything PLUS the system has booted me out of several games while I've had every port in-use. I do send the system reports but YIKES. I still rated a 4 because I believe the bugs will eventually be patched and there is a fix for not enough ports and the Graphics are indeed amazing and the controllers- AMAZING. It is adaptable to your game play and my boys LOVE this feature. Worth purchasing if you can get your hands on one (we have the console as we prefer to have physical copies of games) but keep in mind what I have mentioned above if you intend to maximize your gameplay.
