The system itself is awesome. The load times from the previous systems are improved, as well as the graphics, but the lack of PS5 games bring my review down slightly. The shipping was a bit questionable. The packaging is terrible and arrived a bit damaged. I was afraid to open and see a damaged Playstation. Also I didnt get updates for the shipment until it was delivered. Walmart needs to up the ante on packaging when it comes to costly items.

Ive had my console for about 3 months now and I can say I havent had any problems with it. Ive had 0 glitches,bugs,overheating,or noise issues with it i got it pretty fast for ordering it on December 15th and you have a really good pick of games at the start once you buy it so all in all I would say if your able to get your hands on the PlayStation or the Xbox they work really well

I was finally able to get one of these on the Black Friday drop. The PS5 is amazing and the controller makes gaming tons better. The adaptive triggers are even better than expected. The system is very quite and fast. A huge difference between my original PS4. Although it was very difficult to get, (I tried every time they dropped since they released) it is possible. Using the Walmart App is quicker than the website in my experience and keep clicking “Add to cart” until it no longer gives you the option. I was able to complete the checkout process 6 minutes after the console dropped this time around. You won't be disappointed when you are finally able to get one but definitely don't purchase from scalpers. These consoles will be easier to buy in a couple of months and the console itself is definitely not worth the extra $1,000 on top of the console's price itself. I haven't experienced any bugs with the console so far and may have been patched already. It's an awesome console overall.

Also, as far as the PS5 the system is overall a great system. No issues turning it on and playing games. It is just a system that works! There is a noticeable difference is download speed as in PS4 console it usually took about an hour to play a game. With this system it take 5-10 Minuets. PlayStation finally got it right and I appreciate the hard work from Sony and Wal-Mart to bring a tremendous experience at home.

Ordered it on 3/4/21 using the Walmart app and it arrived via FedEx on 3/7/21. The PS5 is wonderfully built and and features amazing graphics and speed. It was easy to setup and transfer my PlayStation network account to it. The ability to watch 4K Blu-rays on it is well worth the extra $100 for the disk version.

Had to battle bots and other people like myself that didn't want to waste money potentially getting scammed from a scalper, and I'm glad to say that I was able to secure a PS5 and the graphics and download speeds are amazing! If you are still trying to secure a PS5 at retail, it is 100% possible. Hang in there. And good luck securing in the future.

There were a few kinks to work out at first, but the opportunity to own the next generation technology is so exciting! The controller feedback and vibration is so revolutionary, and the clarity of images on the screen with 4k technology blows me away! You owe it to yourself, your kids, or that special person in your life to get a PS5 as soon as they are available.

Best gaming purchase I've made. Plays games beautifully and the control is amazing. Tried everywhere else and couldn't secure mine until I tried Walmart. Must have if you have the chance. Do keep in mind that currently there are some issues with the Dualsense and I personally have experienced the drift after only 3 months of owning the console. PS Support can help tho.

Everything you expect from a Playstation and more. Controllers are better than ever with new features and smooth operation. Graphics are phenomenal. Currently playing Ghost of Tsushima and the SSD is as responsive as you could ever hope for. Have Astro A-50 headset running optical sound through an HDMI Optical Extractor and the sound is beyond compare. Yep, it is everything you would expect a next gen Playstation system to be. You can tell.they did their homework.

This thing is a beast when it comes to graphics. Best 500 dollars I ever spent. The controller is super clean and really immersive when it comes to playing games like spider-man. If I could open this thing for the first time I definitely would. But Walmart need to better their site and make it be able to withstand so many people on it without it crashing like on Black Friday.
