For what you get in the contents of this package the price is a bargain. Security surveillance is definitely an option to help protect your home.

We've had this system in service for about a month. It seems to be working quite well. I need to figure out all the techniques, but it does seem to do everything we wanted.

The system is good for the value. But when you try to set up for record playback and especially for remote access, it is a total nightmare. You almost have to be a computer genius to get it set up. Had to call and pay to have it done, only to find out it it want work with android systems!

I was ready to pay $400 for this unit and 4 cameras then SAM'S put it up with EIGHT (8) cameras for the same price. The resolution on the monitor is great and with 8 cameras I can cover the House interior and exterior, Garage and my two out buildings... plus the driveway. Installation is as simple as hooking up Cable or Satellite TV. We are monitoring on our Cell Phones and laptops and recording 24/7 when no one is home. Set to record only when there's motion when someone is home.

I purchased this because I just brought a new house and I am new to the area and even though the area is very nice, because I am new to the area I wanted to add security cameras to be on the safe side. they came really fast and my husband is a demolition man so I don't trust him drilling anything into our new home, so I hired a security company to come install the cameras properly. they went up and the clarity is really, really good. I can see everything so very clear. it has motion sensors for the recording so its not recording all day everyday wasting space. he put the motion sensors on so that is only records when you set foot on my property and not recording every car that drives down the block. the night vision is very, very clear as well. my sister was looking at the video feed on my computer and it was dead of night and my area is VERY DARK, she was shocked at how clear she could see in everything in the pitch dark. she said it looked like it was day time outside but she know its pitch dark out there. we had a snow storm 2 days after putting them up and it did not affect the cameras vision at all. these cameras as not expensive and does the trick for me. I put up seven of the eight cameras and there is not one blind spot around my house. good product so far.

Overall, this works well for me to keep an "eye" on my camp in a remote location. The setup and configuring the remote access is somewhat difficult, and I've had to do it a few times due to changing out our modem and router. It's nice to have a tech support member get into your router and computer and set it up, but getting through to technical support is ridiculous. I only had to wait 40 minutes today when I called...2 weeks ago, I waited an hour and 45 minutes before I was able to talk to someone. A bit of pain when I have to drive over an hour out to my camp and call during tech support hours #only on the weekdays 9-7 PST#. That's my only gripe. So, if you are tech-savvy and do not think you'll need tech support, then it's great. Otherwise, plan on some headaches.

I recently had a problem with my Century Link phone and internet account which totally messed up my camera system. I contacted customer service at Q See and John-Paul in Tech service was able to help me and get my cameras back up and running even though I was not at the location any longer. Saved me a trip going back to another state. Very Nice and helpful.
