I've had this NVR for about a month, and so far I'm pretty satisfied. The camera quality is great, easy to mount and hook up. Cabling is provided and was long enough for all cameras mounted on my house. Great night vision detection as well. Really if this review was based on hardware alone, I'd probably give it a 5.... ....but when you get to the software, it is a complete disaster. Setting it up on the unit itself was pretty quick and easy. It's when you try using any of the software programs for your pc or smartphone that you run into numerous issues. It definitely may be a deal breaker for most people.

I had the camera's professionally installed. So far they seem to be working ok. I am happy with the purchased, I have made recommendation to a couple of my friends.

Camera pictures are good enough for what I'm using them for. Technical support for Q-see is amazing Austin Hou was incredible with helping my every need!

I installed this system myself and it works very well. There are lots of features i have not figured out yet, but the basic system is easy to use and records great! Camera quality is prety good both day and night.

The 8 channel q-see system was found to be of poor quality,not very clear.As for as night vision,not more than 50 feet.Also not able to remote view as advertised.I regret buying this system.

when I bought it I was told it would be compatible for remote viewing on my blackberry Z10, but it is not. VERY disappointed, system is all installed and paid for, too late to pull it all out, wished I'd been told different at the club.

system isn't to bad, only problem is setting up viewing on your pc. Remotely to your phone wasn't to bad. You scan the code and download the app. The Q-SEE tech. support was great helped me setup computer access to the system.

Product does more than I anticipated. While a little difficult to get setup initially, it is very easy to use once you get the settings correct. Tech support is awesome - they communicate via chat, email or phone - your choice.

VERY SIMPLE TO PUT TOGETHER, VERY EASY TO INSTALL HARDWARE, WAS UP AND RUNNING IN JUST A COUPLE OF HOURS WHICH IS WHAT IT TOOK TO INTALL THE CAMERA'S. THE NIGHT VISION WAS A PLUS.

Unpacked the system and checked to see if everything functioned. Found one little issue with a cable which Q-See replaced without any question.
