I have bought this LG dryer because we have an LG Washer and an LG Dishwasher, and I am happy with both. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about the Dryer. 1. Very often I need to run the second cycle because clothes are not fully dry after the first run; 2. Construction of the filter suggests it will not last long (you need to bend it when cleaning); 3. The top of the dryer is not horizontal, but under an angle. This does not allow me to place anything on top of the dryer, which is inconvenient (I bought the dryer online, and did not expect such a design). Today, I would not buy it.

Connection was pretty easy via WiFi and LG THINQ app. It notified me of how many minutes are left for the cycle. I have been using AI mode the most and it automatically detects the load size and turns up the dryness accordingly. It's got a huge capacity, so drying big loads or blankets isn't an issue at all. Build quality seems decent too. I aint too fond of the black and white color scheme but the performance makes up for it. I will continue to use every other modes available and testing rigorously. Definitely worth having LG ecosystem.

The only negative thing I have to say concerns the exterior color. I bought this to match the 5.0 cu ft washer of the same brand and configuration in Arctic White. I was disappointed to find that the back panel on the dryer has a slight pinkish tint and does not match the washer. When I questioned Sam's Club about the difference, I was told the only solution is to return the dryer and purchase a replacement. I'd rather live with the slight mismatch than go through the hassles of a return. In addition, I have no assurance that a replacement wouldn't have the same problem. When I buy a matching washer and dryer in the exact same color, I expect it to match. The dryer works just as it should, but be aware that there could be a color difference if purchased to match the washer.

And it dries my clothing in no time. Drying time is so quick, and it's got such a gorgeous design with a clean look and touch sensors to activate. Almost makes me want to redo my laundry area so I can show it off! In love with this dryer.

The dryer senses when the clothes are dry even when there is leffover time. Pretty intuitive! I did have to start up a couple of loads because a couple of items were still a bit damp but overall I don't have to run two cycles to dry a full load like the last two dryer we owned. I am impressed.

I love that it syncs up with the washer, so it already knows which cycle to use, and how it sends a message to let you know it's done. I'm always like, “Oh I just got a text from my dryer” haha. I also love that the lint trap opens to easily be cleaned out. My only issue is that the sensor dry on delicates just does not get them dry, so I have to used the timed dryer on those, but I think I need to learn better how to use the alp to make custom cycles . It's reasonably quiet during use and i'm overall very satisfied with it!
