(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We've been using the LG DLE8200W Electric Dryer for a while now and it honestly came at the perfect time. Our previous dryer was almost 20 years old and had just stopped working, so this felt like a much-needed and perfectly timed upgrade! We run the dryer several times a week, especially with all the bedding and blankets we go through thanks to our two cats and dog constantly shedding. One of the biggest things we've noticed is the capacity as it easily handles larger loads like comforters, heavy blankets, pillows and our XXL dog bed, which cuts down on how many cycles we need to run. It also heats up quickly, so we're not waiting around forever for things to get going. Sometimes we'll just throw a blouse or dress in to quickly get the wrinkles out and it takes no time at all. Pet hair is always a concern for us, but this dryer actually does a great job at collecting fur in the lint trap. It's definitely noticeable compared to our old machine and makes everything feel cleaner after even a quick cycle. We haven't been able to try the steam function since we don't have the hookup for it, but we have used the WiFi feature and it's been really convenient. We've had no connectivity issues at all and it's nice being able to control and monitor the dryer from anywhere in the house. Overall, it's been reliable, easy to use, and handles heavy, pet-filled laundry really well and had no issues with ventilation. No major complaints so far - if only our basement was as aesthetically pleasing as this appliance! Bonus that my MIL can use this dryer without any help or instruction!!

Connection was pretty easy via WiFi and LG THINQ app. It notified me of how many minutes are left for the cycle. I have been using AI mode the most and it automatically detects the load size and turns up the dryness accordingly. It’s got a huge capacity, so drying big loads or blankets isn’t an issue at all. Build quality seems decent too. I aint too fond of the black and white color scheme but the performance makes up for it. I will continue to use every other modes available and testing rigorously. Definitely worth having LG ecosystem.

I love that it syncs up with the washer, so it already knows which cycle to use, and how it sends a message to let you know it’s done. I’m always like, “Oh I just got a text from my dryer” haha. I also love that the lint trap opens to easily be cleaned out. My only issue is that the sensor dry on delicates just does not get them dry, so I have to used the timed dryer on those, but I think I need to learn better how to use the alp to make custom cycles . It’s reasonably quiet during use and i’m overall very satisfied with it!

And it dries my clothing in no time. Drying time is so quick, and it's got such a gorgeous design with a clean look and touch sensors to activate. Almost makes me want to redo my laundry area so I can show it off! In love with this dryer.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Very pleased with LG appliances and this dryer reminds me why - efficient and quiet! Plus you gotta love the little tune when the cycle is over. The dryer senses when the clothes are dry even when there is leffover time. Pretty intuitive! I did have to start up a couple of loads because a couple of items were still a bit damp but overall I don't have to run two cycles to dry a full load like the last two dryer we owned. I am impressed.
