Bad, bad, bad appliance.

I wish I can write a review with 5 negative stars. If you want your clothes to get washed run away from it. By using a normal cycle I got my clothes with dry patches in them and with lint spots. It's either using wasted amount of water (and yet poor wash) or don't use even half of what is needed. After 1.5 month of using it, I'm going to sell it (if anyone wants this) and buy another one. I bet those smart engineers that created that never did their own laundry in it.

Horrible washer

This washer sucks, it’s not going to clean your clothes well and when you call they’re gonna ask you if you have a picture of how the clothes still smell bad when they come out even though you watch a whole cycle of the clothes on top not being agitated. The impeller sucks it doesn’t pull the clothes under if you really want the washer go with the agitator because you’re stuck with it after 14 days.

Hi. Thank you for sharing your experience with your LG Washer. It’s clear you’ve been putting the unit through real‑world use, and your feedback on cleaning performance, agitation, and the impeller design is truly valuable. LG washers operate differently depending on the model, and proper load distribution, cycle selection, and water‑level sensing can all affect how the clothes move during the wash. Exceptional Washer!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) So far, I've really enjoyed this washer. I did a lot of research before purchasing and felt LG was going to meet my laundering needs. The cycles are efficient and washed my clothes thoroughly. I have used the AI Cycle and was pleasantly surprised. It adjusted the time, temp, and spin speed according to the fabric. The cycles also seem to run fairly quiet. I love the easy unload feature, which makes it very easy to reach inside the tub. I love the little things like the drain feature on the soap dispenser as well as the sturdiness of it. The App Control is wonderful! You can track how many cycles since you've washed your machine, the energy consumption, as well as remotely starting your machine. It's also nice to be able to track the progression of each cycle in real time. All in all, I am very happy with my washer!!

Do Not Buy This Washer .Worse than Horrible!

This is, without exaggeration, the worst washing machine I have ever owned—and that includes wringer washers, front-loaders, and a tiny stacking unit that barely qualified as an appliance. If you’re in the market for a washer with cavernous capacity—one that could comfortably launder a half-ton pickup and a camper—congratulations, you’ve found it. The 1 star is for the capacity. If, however, your goal is clean clothes, run. Run fast. Hug literally any other washer in the store for comfort. Thinking it might be user error, I tried six different detergents, plus various additives and whiteners (bleach is next, mostly out of spite). The machine burbles and bubbles enthusiastically but apparently draws the line at dissolving powdered oxy. Instead, it thoughtfully redistributes it onto your now tangled and twisted clothes in crusty little clumps at the end of the cycle. The “cleaning power” is truly awe-inspiring—our whites have gone from sparkling to a stylish shade of funeral grey, and our colors are now best described as “existentially tired.” Your laundry would emerge cleaner and brighter if you hauled it to a creek and beat it on the rocks. The manual claims this washer cleans by rubbing clothes together. That’s adorable. What it actually does is bounce them gently in a few bubbles like it’s afraid of offending them. I can achieve better results dipping clothes up and down in my kitchen sink. The preset cycles are etched in stone—technically adjustable, but never in a way that results in cleanliness. It’s also noisy. Constantly. Loud enough that you’ll wonder if it’s protesting its own existence. After just six weeks, I am seriously considering gifting this machine to some unsuspecting soul and replacing it with… literally anything else. Do. Not. Buy. This. Washer. Unless, of course, you’re tired of taking your truck to the car wash. And, yes, I have followed every instruction to the letter.

Thank you for sharing your experience, and we sincerely apologize for the frustration your new WT8200CW has caused. While we’re glad you appreciate the 5.0 cu. ft. capacity, we want your clothes to be just as impressive as the load size. The 'crusty clumps' you mentioned often occur when powdered additives don't fully dissolve in the lower water levels of a high-efficiency (HE) machine. We recommend placing any powders at the bottom of the drum before adding clothes to ensure they hit the water first. For deep cleaning power, try the Heavy Duty cycle with the Deep Fill option to increase wash action and water volume. We would like to investigate the noise and cleaning performance further with you. Please reach out to us at 1-888-542-2623.

Plenty oof cycles

I am very happy with this machine, my cloths come out nice an clean without the detergent residue like my old machine would leave on my cloths. It has many different setting and cycles to choose from. The machine is very quiet.

Washer is ok

You have to use your phone to run a small load. When I set up the small load on my phone and hit “send to washer”, the water temperature changes. And the washer shakes badly during the spin cycle.

Hello, Nancy. Thank you for sharing your experience regarding your LG WT8200CW Washer. We aim to design highly efficient laundry innovations that offer seamless smart connectivity and smooth operation, and we want to help ensure your cycles run exactly as you expect. When your washing machine experiences movement during operation, we recommend verifying that all four leveling feet are placed flat against a solid floor surface and ensuring that each cycle load is balanced evenly inside the drum. For situations regarding temperature changes or stability, checking that your hot and cold water supply valves are completely open can ensure correct intake blending. You can find detailed instructions to help optimize your appliance performance by visiting our official troubleshooting guides at https://www.lg.com/us/support/help-library/lg-washer-troubleshooting-vibration-issues--1366656981583 and https://www.lg.com/us/support/help-library/lg-washer-how-do-i-fix-water-temperature-issues--20150721004117 for further assistance. If you require further support managing your cycle configurations or smart settings, please send us an email at lgdigitalcare@lg.sprinklrsupport.com so we can investigate your details and provide direct assistance. ^James
