I don't want to relive how many times I have lost power and my sump pump was going like mad. I already saved my furnished basement a few times with my portable generator and long extension cords. My wife and I finally decided to figure out a real solution and chose Generac. An electrician friend of mine said that if I'm going to do it, live the dream and power the whole house. Now we don't have to worry about lights, heat, sump pump, or cooking! And I don't have to stress about a storm rolling through if I'm away from home! It's great peace of mind. If you loose power from storms from time to time, and your sump pump runs regularly in wet weather, and you don't want to heat soup on a camp stove and dine by flashlight in the cold, then get one!

This generator is the second Generac generator we have purchased. The first was for our family home ten years prior to moving to Northern Wisconsin. We moved here last fall and the first major purchase for our new home was a newly installed Generac generator. We are very happy with this product. Highly recommend to anyone for peace of mind.

The unit has no hand holds for lifting and places to attach straps for lifting when installing it. It is louder than I expected also. Besides having no good anchor points, the unit is fairly compact. It is easy to use, self explanitory and seemed easy to fully install. Over all it seems like a good buy.

Our electricity has gone out several times since I bought the generator and I am the only one in the area who had electricity. It worked perfectly. Now the neighbors call me to see if my generator is running so they will know if its just theirs or if everyone's electricity is out. Never mine!! :-)

Installation went as planned, no problems. Forgot to order the battery, Technicians had one with them, saved the day.

Appears to be a great product. We lost power right after we had it installed and everything worked as advertised. The installation was spot on perfect. Very professional.

The installation was simple and quick done by professionals. We had it for three days and lost power, but the generator kicked right in and we didn't even have to reset clocks or anything. Works perfectly.

My retailer is awesome. My electrians are awesome and did a clean install which saved me money. Their idea to install was much better than my idea because they have installed many units. Very happy with both Retailer and Electrians.

Our unit was installed earlier this week. So, cannot provide much input at this point. It does appear to do exactly what we wanted and the price was reasonable. Look forward to having it come on when the power is off. Wayne
