Very Quiet & Compact

Just bought this generator today and overall it seems very quiet and a reasonable size. Pull out handle makes it easy to move around. Setup was simple. Only issue is that it does not have a gas shutoff so you cannot drain the carb dry while running and it only comes with 1 set of remote keys

Beautiful generator. Super quiet.

The size is a perfect fit for the compartment and matches the wattage I need to power my inverter. My only issue is that the directions instruct me to disconnect everything from generator before starting. When power fails I need to remote start the unit to provide light. It's a low load draw so I hope this doesn't become an issue. The included manual is one of the most comprehensive publications I have ever seen. I could probably rebuild the unit looking at the pictures provided. Highly recommend. Great value.

Good for both camping and home emergency use.

Had it for only a few days, but using it each day for RV. Starts easily, runs smoothly and quietly. Provides all the electricity I need on propane. Great start for this piece of equipment. Item was well packed with styrofoam, but cardboard box had several cuts in it. Inspected it at the store, no damage to generator seen.

Was worried about how loud it was at first.

When we first started it in our back yard, it was very loud. Luckily it was because it was surrounded by fences and our house. We moved it to the front yard and it was much quieter. The remote has worked properly the few times we have used it, and the running off propane is working great. Once we get a couple more hours on it I plan to swap the included oil out and try normal gas. The eco mode ramps up perfectly, and it powered our test 1500w heater perfectly fine. Looking forward to using it on our RV.

Excellent Product

The generator is everything that I was told it would be and more. It's compact, powerful, quiet and met all my exceptions and more. It was easy to hook up direct to the circuit breakers in our house and works just perfect. After I receive mine our neighbor bought the exact model so we had the electrician hook both up at the same time.

Quiet and Versatile Generator

Purchased to power a travel trailer and in the event of power outages. Box was shipped well protected and setup was straightforward. Started on propane and ran perfectly out of the box. Retractable handle is very useful for moving around the house and campsites. Very happy with my purchased so far and look forward to using this for years to come.

Remote Start & Electric Start but…

Purchased for RV. Love the electric and remote start plus other features like fuel gauge and suitcase style handle and wheels for moving. This is my first ever generator. My only not-so-small complaint is the fact that it runs rough, blows black smoke and struggles to run my 15k air conditioner. I'm no engineer but I know how to follow directions and I have followed the manual to a “t”. Now I have to figure out how to fix something that shouldn't need fixed.

Well designed generator, delivers as promised.

We outgrew our 2200w Hon** suitcase inverter and needed to upsize. After doing some research and talking to other RVers we chose the igen4500. A bit sceptical since we didnt have any direct expierence with Westinghouse generators or inverters but the iGen4500 had lots of features for a very reasonable price. Especially appreciated how EVERYTHING was included in the box with the inverter... oil, tools, funnel and even a battery charger! Unit was very easy to prep for use and started up with a simple push of the remote. So far only have 30+ hours on the unit but to date it has performed very well and has easily exceeded my expectations. Definitely recommend the iGen4500 to anyone.

Solid and Capable Machine

I am still in the process of break in and keeping the load under 50%, but I am so pleased with this generator. It is reasonable silent, feature packed and reasonably priced. My only complaint is the oil change process...difficult and if you spill oil in there, you will never get it all out.

Quiet, easy to use

I just bought this generator for my Toyhauler and so far I'm very pleased. It was pretty easy to set up and get running. Just hook up the battery and remember to put in the oil - not clearly marked. but I'm familiar enough with power equipment to know that they ship without oil in the crankcase. Others may not. Anyway, plugged right up to my 120v/30 amp camper and ran the lights and 1500 btu AC no problem. I only have a couple of hours on it so can't speak to durability. It is quiet and the remote start worked right away. I can't speak to durability yet but I take care of my things and hope to get a long, trouble free life out of it. I haven't tried it on propane yet but plan to next camping trip. So far just tried it on gas in the driveway. Hope it works as well on propane. Ymmv
