fantastic, worked with my new appliances!!!

we just had an extended power outage, and I had a generator.....BUT....it wouldnt work with my new ref and freezer.......turns out the newer appliances dont like the AC from an older style generator. Bought this model at out local farm store, and was not disappointed. Kept my frozen foods, and my wifes medicine cold for 44+ hours. Did I mention I broke the recoil rope on my old generator......no worries with this one, its electric start !!!! worked great,

Just right for me

I previously purchased a pair of iGen2200's to run in parallel for my RV. When I saw this with its dual fuel capability and remote start I sold the 2200's to buy one. Works great right out of the box, after adding oil and connecting the battery of course, and it's less than 1/2 the price of a comparable Honda.

Great Duel Fuel Inverter Generator!

After extensive research, I purchased the iGen5000DFc. What a great decision it was! It has all the features I was looking for: sufficient starting watts to power up and run our travel trailer AC, duel fuel capability, 3 starting options, CO sensor, Low oil LED. Initial set up was easy. Motor oil and funnel, battery charger and a tool kit were included with the generator. The generator started up effortlessly the first time. I was surprised how quiet it runs. Looking forward to using this generator for camping and during power outages at home.

The features I was looking for

I just received my 4500 dual fuel generator, that I purchased for my Fifth wheel RV. It has the features I was looking for, including dual fuel, 30 amp plug, and enough amperage to run air conditioners and more. I unboxed the unit, filled it with oil, hooked up the battery and started it on LP, using the remote control. It started right away and ran properly. I have not yet tested the output or used the unit, but I looking forward to giving it a try. I gave this 4 stars, only because I have not used it in working conditions.

My First Generator

Been looking for a generator to use as a backup to power my home (partially) and I found it... the iGEN4500DF. Chose the DF because it uses dual fuel and I wanted to use propane. I have not used it a lot but my first impressions where astounding. It has everything I need and has great controls. Thank you Westinghouse for creating this wonderful device for me.

Westing in the House iGen5000DFc IBREADY

This is my second Westinghouse and just getting the inverter model to protect my electronics plus I bumped uo the power a bit to cover more demand when needed. I will install a transfer switch to run selected circuits instead of running a long power cord. Paid a little extra but got all the bells and whistles. Very happy

Nice generator

Well had to be worked on rite out of the box , plug for choke was disconnected , had to remove side covers and front and rear covers also to plug connector in for choke , also sent a faulty regulator with unit , generator runs great after tearing it down to repair it , should not have to work on it straight from the box

First impression: Very quiet, almost perfect.

Just purchased the iGen4500DF after much consideration. Will be used for boondocking with a 30amp travel trailer and also for replacing an older emergency backup generator for my home. It's a bit heavy for lifting into the back of my truck, so I'll need to figure out a way to transport/move it, but I purchased this one because it will handle both of the purposes I intend to use it for. I connected it to my travel trailer and ran it on propane for two hours, varying the load with a/c, refrigerator and lights as a break in run. The only things I've seen so far that I would prefer to be different are (1) a better way of draining the engine oil, and (2) a toggle style main circuit breaker to allow connecting or disconnecting the plugs with the unit running and no power output to the receptacles.

Perfect emergency backup generator.

Generator is perfect for emergency backup. It's only 120V so i just wired the hot lead to both hots in my transfer switch. Note you can only run 120V circuits this way. Ran as many lights as I wanted, fridge, furnace, and one kitchen appliance at a time to cook. Ran for 48 hours straight during this last winter storm with no hiccups. Just shutdown to swap out propane bottles. Runtime was 18 hours on one 20lb bottle of propane and that's with eco mode off. Would recommend.
