I purchased this generator for tailgating. I was initially looking at the smaller 2500 watt 30lb units but wanted enough power to be able use at my house during an outage. This was the only 4000W generator I could find that a reasonable weight for a 1-person carry. All the others weighed 80-100lbs. It's also one of the quietest generators of it's size at 52db. It comes with the propane adaptor, some tools, and an oil funnel. Most other brands sell those accessories for an added cost. It was very easy to get it up and running. I'm very happy with this purchase.

I dont have many hours on it, but I am really impressed. The igen 4500df was the only generator on the market that had both a remote control and dual fual. Running propane is nice because the exhaust doesn't smell as bad, it keeps the carb clean, and is an easy fual option as I already carry two tanks with my camper. I ran a 30 gal oil free air compressor and an electric grill at the same time showed and it showed I was only using 50% of its compasity.

This generator is being used at our off-grid property to charge our large battery bank. We did a lot of research before making this purchase, and concluded this generator had more features than other generators in its category. The fact that it uses an auto choke with the remote start really sets it apart. No more going out in the snow at night to turn the generator on and off. I just wish the compartment door to change the oil was larger.

This is everything my research told me it would be. The iGen4500DF is quiet even under a full load, the remote is so nice, and the dual fuel gives me options. I love it. Westinghouse has thought of it all, and provided everything you need out right of the box. The only thing missing are proper break in instructions; probably because it requires multiple oil changes in those first hours of use. But when I did those oil changes, I knew I was doing the right thing to keep this great inverter running great for years to come. The iGen4500DF is truly the top level Inverter Generator on the market, and with the price, it is a modern marvel. Thank you Westinghouse!

Very satisfied so far. Great power to weight ratio, super quiet, easy to store and transport. Easy to operate and started right up (after adding the included oil and connecting to fully charged onboard battery). On our particular camper, it'll run two ACs with power to spare.

Great product thats easy to use. Quiet Keychain remote. Great product. Dual fuel. Reliable. The unit itself can be found cheaper on other sites, but if your considering to buy an extended warranty, this is the best deal with a 4 year warranty available.

The iGEN4500 units seem to have a ongoing problem with the choke as this one also has this same problem, after viewing some UTUBES I removed the right side cover and found that the choke was not plugged in, after I plugged it in everything worked OK. See pics

I waited a long time for this to become available. I wanted the remote start capability, duel fuel, and the reported fuel economy. Having it run for a longer time on a gallon of gas when you are way up in the mountains can be important. So far I love everything. It starts super easy, runs very quiet, and I could run my AC and the microwave at the same time in my RV. It would have received 5 stars except for a tag attached to the front panel saying that I should turn of the propane source when it is not running. If I need to go out and turn on the propane every time I want to use it, that makes the remote start useless! I did however connect a propane tank (after weighing it) and found that after a week without using it, I still had the same amount of fuel

Unit arrived with several broken components! Contacted Westinghouse within hours of delivery to report the issues and got an answering service. Left my information and received an email stating they are very busy and I will experience a prolonged delay in customer service response. So not sure what to do, but take it back to Walmart for a refund. If you buy one make sure you take the engine panel off and inspect the unit for damage!

The well known choke issue... is still an issue! My box was delivered lightly beat up but it has fome protection. Found the battery beet up from inside the generator. Acid cap broken off. Battery should have been secured with the supplied strap. Fired right up first time but was not vary smoth running. I questioned whether the choke was on still or not? Could not tell. It ran for two hours running my travel trailer ac only. And stalled due to filed plug! I guess that answers that. So fixing the choke plug sounded like an easy fix except for the 2 bolts that where stripped from the inside plastic incert! And now I had to clean the plug and the completely blocked. Spark answers from running so rich. After all that it smoked a little at first but ran well. Now I worry whether the brake in oil is full of gas?
