Provides power we needed during long power outage

Powered two fridges, internet modem, a couple lights and then periodic comfort items such as an espresso machine (it felt that one!), toaster, heater, Xbox, and a tv (not all at once of course). While no generator is super fuel efficient, this one is SIGNIFICANTLY more fuel efficient and much much quieter than our neighbors tradition generator. Would definitely buy again!

Has all the features I need!

Just bought this generator a week ago and so far so good! Disappointed I had to take the time to adjust the manual choke so the unit would start the first time. Starts without further adjustment since. Looking forward to first camping trip with my IGen4500!

Really Nice Generator

I bought this generator and because of business commitments it was 2 weeks later before I was able to start and use. I started the generator using propane. As soon as I hit the start button it started right up. I am really pleased with how quiet it is when running. I only used some small tools with it today but it did great.

Duel Fuel is the way to go

We just received this generator in preparation for the camping season. I put in the oil, hooked up the battery, and followed the rest of the prep instructions and it fired right up first try. I let it run in my garage for 5-6 hours in -10 degrees and it did not have any issues. It's fairly quiet without a load, we will see once we get it hooked up to the camper. I am confident this will run all my appliances with some to spare and costs a fraction of the red one we were looking at.

Quality quiet product

After many years of deliberation about buying a generator, I finally buckled down did my homework and have been completely satisfied with my purchase of the igen4500 DF. Very quiet and reliable, didn't expect the added bonus of remote start! Brilliant. I have a friend who bought the same model. Peace of mind knowing I can run the sump pump and keep fridge going if we lose power.

Great RV Generator

This generator is very compact and starts like a dream. The remote comes in handy at night so you can stop generator without going outside. Just remember to turn power switch off in the morning or after using the generator for more than 12 hours. If the switch is left on it will drain the battery over a 12 hour period. The weight of the the generator is approx. 100lbs and may need the help of anoter person to lift. I haul this in the back of my pick up truck but bear in mind that the generator needs to breath otherwise the co2 monitor will shut the engine down. I like this generator and would highly recommend to anyone.

Great experience

It couldn't have been any easier. I unboxed the generator, added the supplied oil and made the battery connection. I connected my extra propane tank, turned on the power switch and used the remote start fob to start it up. It started right up. Then plugged in a small 1500watt space heater. The engine changed pitch slightly and the heater was throwing out heat. Never again will I be without heat and basic life support for my family.

Awesome except for....

There is a wire harness for the choke that you need to open up multiple panels to access and plug in. I am not sure why this is but the reason I found out was through YouTube after I became extremely frustrated. After that it works like a charm. That should be explained when purchased not that somebody has to find out and dig up information on it

Perfect fit

After camping for years in tents and pop ups I finally bought a travel trailer. This purchase of the igen4500 was a game changer. Camping in AZ without AC is restricted by the time of year and elevation. With this generator I no longer have to worry about that. I've tested the generator running the AC and TV and microwave all at once and it didn't miss a beat. Very happy with the purchase.

Great Generator

I've only run it on propane so far, but it starts right up, runs relatively quiet, and adapts to loads quickly with little hesitation. Very happy with it after having researched generators for many hours. Light enough to take camping with the RV trailer, and can be paralleled to run a 240volt 30amp transfer switch at home. Only feature I wish it had were adjustments for altitude. I don't have the high altitude kit yet, but I imagine putting it in every time we camp at elevation, then taking it out at home, will get old quickly.
