This is my second Westinghouse and just getting the inverter model to protect my electronics plus I bumped uo the power a bit to cover more demand when needed. I will install a transfer switch to run selected circuits instead of running a long power cord. Paid a little extra but got all the bells and whistles. Very happy

Just got this generator and had to put it to use immediately when we had some bad storms through Houston area. Ran for 48 hrs without a hiccup. I believe this is the best bang for the buck inverter generator. My only knock is I thought it would be super quiet. It's about half the noise of a regular generator.

This genny had all the features I wanted and then some. I think the igen4500DF had some drawbacks at first: people reported choke problems, gummed up carb, some other starting issues but I think Westinghouse got it sorted out because mine arrived and after following the instructions for setup it started second time on propane and ran great. All features are functional and the thing is soooo quiet.

I was hesitant to purchase a lesser name in generators, but through the testing and performance, its hands down the best generator investment I have made. Dual Fuel, Remote Start, Inverter, Quieter than Hondas, RV ready. I could not ask for a better investment for an energy backup.

We love this generator. It is powerful to run the A/C on our RV when we are boondocking. A real game changer for our RV lifestyle to get off the grid and not be bound to electric hookups to stay comfortable and enjoy our time exploring this great country. When we are running the A/C we can't even hear the generator running.

This is the second generator I've purchased. The first one (not a Westinghouse, and not an inverter) failed on me after 3-4 uses.... This one is wayyyyyy better, quieter, and uses way less fuel - either propane or gas. Best purchase I've ever made... Get an inverter - they cost more, but are worth it... love the easy start, including the remote - no need to even touch the unit..... my wife loves that.

I bought this so that I could run the air conditioner (for the wife) on really hot days while boon docking. Also needed it to run the coffee maker. Bought the one with remote so I didn't have to go out in the rain or after dark to start it. Happy wife Happy life.

after 11 months of storage, sitting in the garage, on the charger, run once a month for 10 minutes since first fueling, the starter has failed. never actually used the unit to provide power, but kept in a ready state. very upset customer. also, in an attempt to upload a video per this Westinghouse review page, youtube automatically classified my 37 second video a "short" and this URL type is not valid for upload to this review section. only standard antiquated youtube URL's can be uploaded here. 1 star all around.

Did a lot of research as to what generator to purchase for working on rustic cabin with no electricity. Had my sights on the Westinghouse iGEN 4500 and knew I needed to get one! We had a storm blow through and knocked out my power at my house so had to act fast. Found one, hooked it up to frig and 21 cubic ft. freezer for nearly 56 hours straight and ran like a CHAMP. A single full gas tank was good up to 21 hours....Purrs like a kitten but powerful as a Lion!!! Love this unit and highly promote anyone in need of generator to buy this model!!! This generator started right up and ran perfectly. I was so glad I made this purchase as we had a power outage that evening. Kept my freezer and fridge running plus gave us some lighting. Worked so well that I am going to purchase and install a transfer station so during the next outage the transition from power company to generator is seamless. A Great Product!!
