I had an issue with my gen after about 20 hours into a two week boondocking trip so I called the number on the side of the unit. I had registered my igen4500df so the process was seamless. They sent me a new unit within 4 days ! Westinghouse gens are the best I've ever owned!

I live in a townhouse and didn't want to alienate my neighbors with the noise of a traditional generator at night. This is plenty to run our fridge, a fan, modem and coffee maker/ toaster oven when needed during the increasingly common power outages in HTX.

So far the inverter runs great even with a large load. I connected fluke meters to monitor the voltage and amperage while running a Ridgid Pipe threader as I threaded a piece of 1 1/2" conduit and the voltage was very consistent while the unit was about half loaded.

Igen4500df We have run this generator through a trial by fire. A week of 100+ F degree temp. in our travel trailer with the air conditioning running nearly 24 hrs per day. We used both fuel modes, gas and propane on the eco mode. It ran flawlessly and economically the whole time.

Purchased this wGEN7500 as a backup for power outages at our home. Easy set up with a transfer switch. Started easily and runs smooth. Just tested with the switch and it easily ran our furnace, well, refrigerator and lights. The only downside is that the unit is loud, which was expected. Since it is for emergencies only, we'll live with it.

I recently bought my generator for camping and was quite impressed with just how quiet my new IGen4500DF generator ran. I'm also very impressed with the remote starter which allows me to start the generator from inside the camper, a feature that I appreciated when the snow hits overnight.

I bought this generator for the dual fuel feature, and to power my camper. Tested out of the box with propane on my camper. Worked great, it ran the Coleman AC and the Microwave with out any problems. The generator was very quite under normal load and the sound level did increase will running the AC and Microwave but from the inside of the camper you could not even telll. This generator will also be my backup for my home during a long Power Outage mainly. for the well pump and refrigerator. I will put it through some hours this spring and summer off-grid camping in Wyoming and Colorado while fly fishing.

IT WAS SO EASY TO INSTALL. IT STARTED INMEDIATELY THE BUTTOM WAS PUSHED. VERY, VERY QUIET. I ORDERED IT WIHTOUT TELLING MY WIFE TO GIVE HER A SURPRISE. WHEN SHE SAW THE GENERATOR. HOW HANDY IT WAS AND THAT IT MADE MUCH, MUCH LESS NOISE THAN THE ONE i HAD, SHE WAS PLEASED. NOW MY SON WANTS TO BUY ONE.

Purchased this unit in August and following directions, regarding adding oil and connecting the battery, I connected it to propane and it started right up.Ran smooth and quiet. I hooked it up to our trailer and it ran the A/C no problem. I have no doubt it will power everything in the trailer with capacity to spare.

It took 3 tries to get one I could keep but I finally have one that looks and runs good. I have only tried it for test purposes so far. I will only run this on propane. It started right up. When loaded up with big draw items, it didn't hesitate to increase power. It is a bit louder that I anticipated but still much quieter than most on the market. This is for emergency use only so hopefully I don't have to use it too much.
