- 4 out of 5 stars review2/9/2024Assembled and started up first try. Quiet and stable running for this size equipment. Appears good quality. Average set of instructions. Only quirk I have found is that after starting with auto start and shutting down, it would not start with the manual pull cord. Tried numerous times. I found that after charging the battery to capacity, it started first pull. My thinking is that pull starting should be the work around for a dead battery. A generator should not require a charged battery to pull start. Maybe I need to review the instructions.
So far, So good with one small quirk.

The sounds (DBs) seemed a little higher than advertised but still reasonable for a generator this size. I wish the propane connector was easier to use with an RV. Westinghouse should include a quick connect adapter or offer one as an accessory.

It's compact it's a lot quieter then would think for outputting 4500 watts. I put oil in hooked up the battery "like they tell you to do" With a very detailed start procedure. Fired right on propane. I couldn't. Be any happier with my purchase.

It is light weight, started the first time on gasoline and propane. All Batteries were charged and the remote worked great. It ran my AC, refrigerator, water heater, and fans in my camper with no problems.

It is so easy to start! It is pretty heavy to lift, but the handles allow for easier rolling around. Even my wife can do this! It's such a relief to be prepared now for power outages in addition to having a reliable generator to take camping.

Hooked up the battery and it started right away on gas. After run in, tried on RV. It ran everything including 13500 HVAC and microwave, lights, pumps and extra fan. Never went over 75% including surge. Also ran on propane, same conditions without exceeding 80%. So far so good! Tested on my son's RV, he ordered on as well.

Super easy to crank whether you use the electric start with the remote or pull the cord. Is powerful enough to run my 30 amp travel trailer with everything on, even the A/C. Even on propane! It does all this and barely makes a sound. In eco mode it is quieter than a dishwasher. Amazing product!

Finally found it and bought immediately based on reviews, glad i did. Super quiet compared to my previous Champion I returned due to noise level. Plenty of power, great features, runs everything at once on our 23' Nash trailer, exactly what i wanted. The remote start is a bonus in the cold mornings. No issues with delivery or condition other than some kind of silicone grease on everything in the wrapper. Hoping for many years of service.

It is so great to be able to operate using propane especially when camping while not having the gas fumes to deal with. The electric start is fantastic and having a wireless remote control is the icing on the cake. It's so nice to be able to start the generator from inside our travel trailer on cool mornings. It was so easy to set up and operate and started on the first attempt. It is also so nice to have the LED display with remaining run time, remaining fuel and lifetime hours data is really helpful. The Gen4500DF is so very quiet for such a large generator! I couldn't get over how you can be standing right beside it while running...

Wanted the dual fuel option so we could run off the camper's propane tanks instead of toting gasoline around. It was nice knowing we had the flexibility and power needed to run the A/C, refrigerator/freezer, and water heater if we needed to boondock. Will be giving a true review after I get a chance to actually run it.

After following all instructions, cranked it up first time (by recoil). Wouldn't start the second time (by recoil) rigged up the broken battery post and was able to get it started with electric start. Let it run on gas power with no load for 5 hours. (Should have battery secured separately in packaging) Haven't put a load on it yet. Plan on doing so after break in.

The instructions for preparation for use were very good and there were no missing parts. Have not had an opportunity to use it (fortunately the last hurricane had little impact on coastal Alabama). I really like the dual fuel capability and the quietness of the machine.

I wanted an inverter generator, since I have appliances and computers that would be protected better with cleaner power. I also wanted the option to power the entire home, and the 9K running watts will do that easily. The unit came packaged very well, and with easy to understand instructions. I also like the dual fuel feature, since getting gasoline isn't easy to get during a major power outage. I haven't fired it up now, haven't needed to, but will do so in the spring when the snow is gone.

After doing lots of research on generator types, the difference between inverters and regular generators etc., I decided to purchase this bad boy. It's AWESOME. Our camping companions were jealous of how easily it starts, how much juice it puts out ON DEMAND, and how quiet it is. I ran it on Eco Mode the whole time and never once smelled any exhaust. All the while it clicked on with the push of a button whenever we wanted the AC, microwave, TV, or air compressor.

So far it's been good, worked right out of the box without any issues. Ive only ran it on gas but I do appreciate the fact I can use propane. The fuel tank is fairly large for the size of the generator which will help it run longer without refueling. For the price I got it I can't complain since others in price range can not compare as I got this on sale.

I'm now prepared for the next ones though. Fired it up and ran a couple appliances and then hooked it up the RV. Ran great! Super quiet and the handles help with extra security. I can chain it down through the carrying handles so nobody comes and steals it in the middle of the night.

Easy push button or remote start for the ladies! Should be a great piece of equipment to get us Floridians thru the upcoming hurricane season.
