I love this washing machine. I used to have a non agitator one but this one does. Washes much better. And fits comforters to get washed. The only thing is it's hard to see where the buttons are when it's not one. The whole panel could be lit up a bit more.

I started using my new laundry machines today and I absolutely love them. They take up less space than my old laundry pair but they're much bigger on the inside. I washed my king-sized comforter and there was easily room in the washing machine for two more comforters. Next I did a huge load of towels and after the wash and spin cycles, the washing machine looked two-thirds empty. The spin cycle itself does a fantastic job and as I pulled the towels out of the machine to put them in the dryer, I was impressed at how dry they already were. That saved a lot of time in the dryer so that's a nice little bonus the documentation didn't mention.

BEST washer We Ever owned, Incredible capacity. POWERFUL, steady, strong. reliable. CLOTHES COME OUT CLEAN. I use borax with the wash, and washing soda, with ALL clear laundry soap, no scent no color. I highly recommend it.

I like the easy clothes lid and I really like where you add the detergent, it's a nice easy drawer to pull out and fill with whichever detergent you choose

No matter which cycle (normal, deep wash, delicates) adjusting the spin cycle always leaves clothes too wrung out & wrinkled. It's as if the spin cycle only has 1 setting. Leaves even the delicate clothes way too wrinkled.

I bought this washing machine along with five other LG appliances on a lay-away on February 10, 2025 and accepted delivery only on June 12, 2025 after the extensive renovations were completed on the condo I purchased. LG claims that my One Year Warranty is no longer in effect on any of the appliances, because… (drum roll)… they consider February 10, 2025 as the start date for the warranty period.

As a mom of 4 boys who go to school, play multiple sports, spill food, get sick, potty training etc I hate this washer!! We bought a new washer and dryer set after using old school white top loader set for years. My husband wanted to purchase Speed Queen but I did not want to spend the money. These were expensive enough, and since they were new and included tech I assumed they would be a great investment. Boy was I wrong. Clothes don't ever seem to come clean, stains are never washed out, there is no soak feature, and cycles take forever if you add rinse or heavy cycle. If there is grass on a kid sock it comes back out with the sock after it's done “cleaning”. I shouldn't have to wash all my clothes by hand before washing them in the washer. I've tried every cycle, soap, water combination I have found suggested online on the app, and I'm the manual! Another example, I have a sick kiddo today, a boogered up tissue got washed with the dirty pillows/blankets by accident. Guess what came out…a tissue with boogers still on it! Crazy!! The dryer is ok but for clothes to actually dry you have to turn the heat up and select that you want them dry. We constantly clean/wash the vent and it still gives errors. The washer is still my main issue though! We also purchased a LG ThinQ dishwasher and have the same problem. We have to wash dishes before we run them in the dishwasher. Newer is not always better! LG needs to compensate all of us who wasted money on this set!

Preface: Sam's Club made it right and gave me service beyond what I expected. Thank you Sam's LG's warranty will lead you down a dark road. 1) Had for 4 months 2) Took immaculate precautions and care 3) It broke. "Motor Locked Error" and a noise that comes in nightmares 4) Called the LG number. Automation sent me to a chatbot. That chatbot sent me to another chatbot. That chatbot sent me to an online AI assistant named Mark. ALL THREE walked me through the exact same steps before concluding that service was needed. 5) 9 days later a technician is scheduled for 5 days after that. 6) Technician changes appointment three times. 7) I personally went to Sam's and cried for mercy. They allowed my return with a full refund as long as I could get the machine back to them. I did. In conclusion, if this experience is what you want, then this is the model to go for.

The washer failed the day after it was delivered. It took almost a month to get it operational so we have not have enough experience with it to rate it's performance

I purchased a LG washing machine Model WT8405CB about 13 months ago. It's a top loader. It started breaking apart from the door where it fits off into the washing machine at. Pieces are just breaking off in the washing machine. The machine is not made of anything. You have to be careful how you handle it. Pieces appear to be still breaking off till this day. I just don't understand it. It should be a lawsuit with the way pieces are just breaking off. Cheaply Made Products by LG!!
