They have a strange, unpleasant smell. Out of 13 dogs, only 2 showed any interest in these...and one of those threw up shortly after eating his. They all love the Chicken and Waffle treats by Member's Mark, but they will have to pass on these.

They don't smell bad to me, but my dog who normally eats pretty much any treat won't touch them! Like she actually turns her head away from them as if in disgust. I trust my dog's instincts. Who knows what goes on in "Walmart world" to keep prices lower. I will see if I can return them.

I opened this bag and gave a treat to my dog. My dog got sick that night and i had no clue why. In the next maybe 2 days after my dog was better go to grab another treat only to realize white mold was growing on the treats! I looked to see if they should have been refrigerated after opening. Nothing on the bag. They were stored in a cool dry spot. I returned them the next day. Please be careful feeding these to your pets.

Bought these in July 2025, by August 2025 they were covered in mold. Supposed to be good until Sept 2027. They were kept at cool room temperature, which it was supposed to be. Not sure why this happened but my daughter bought them too and hers molded too within a month.

I got these to try for my 1 year old dog. She’s a Shih Tzu with a pretty sensitive stomach. A lot of treats I’ve tried, she gets sick and throws up. But these have been great! She likes the flavor and she hasn’t any stomach troubles with them. In fact, they seem to be good for her. I like that the bag recommends how many to give your dog based on their weight. They do not smell. Highly recommend and I hope they keep making these!!!!

Our four Newfoundlands go absolutely stupid for these. All four are picky in different ways, so the fact they are loved by all is still geeking us out. From just “nigh night” cookies to helping to train the puppy, these are working. We just randomly grabbed them thinking we would give them a shot. Now they are part of our permanent arsenal! They are not huge, no where near the size of the milk bone treats, but they work and are perfect for a light snack. HA! For smaller dogs, these might be big. For training purposes, I rip them in quarters or half.
