I usually read the reviews but got this last minute at the club. Lots of hard grease before I cooked it. I thought it would be ok once it cooked. I was very disappointed. It was tough, fatty, to the point it was hard to shred. It came in big clumps of fat, grissel and weird meat. It smelled good but tasted awful. I have never commented on here but felt I needed to.

I have a family of 5 and everyone likes their pulled pork a different way. I put this in the oven for a half-hour and while it was warming up I got the side dishes ready. Some of us loved this meat as is without sauce, others used sauce, and still, another added a bit of salt & pepper & that's it. It's a great base & has good flavor & there's enough to feed my family (2 parents, 3 kids). It was a little hard to separate in spots but I think that could be remedied w/ just a touch more water (or even bbq sauce) while warming in the oven (I can't vouch for the micro method). I'm definitely picking up more on my next trip because anything that gives me more time in my day is a winner to me.

I love a good barbeque pulled pork so I was excited to try this product. As others have said, this is a huge chunk of meat made out of smaller chunks. Not pulled. I followed the instructions and it was easy to shred with 2 forks after it came out of the oven. My main problem is that it had no flavor. Absolutely tasteless. No season, no smoky flavor, nothing. I added some salt, BBQ sauce and put it back in the oven for 10 min (uncovered) and it was edible, not great.

I totally agree with the review that said "Absolutely Disgusting!" Upon opening the package, what I saw was a big chunk of weird looking fatty meat. Very fatty. I didn't cook it. Should have returned it but just ended up throwing the whole thing away. Surprised they sell this product.

Slightly disappointed. Like other reviews, the product after cooking wasn't great. Dry, but mainly fat, which made it difficult to shred. Won't be buying again.
