Amazing pulled pork

I think this pulled pork is a good idea, especially if I'm wanting a quick meal without spending a lot of time. The ingredients are also pretty good, without a lot of random chemical products. It seems like this product has a bit more fat than I'd regularly like, and it can be a bit difficult to shred. I'm undecided on whether I like having to add my own sauce. I mean, it makes it a lot easier to customize to whatever flavor I'd prefer, but it just seems like it should be part of the package.

This use to be great pulled pork. But, they cheaped out and changed it to cubed pork pieces that have a hight content of gristle. And we tried it a few times to ensure we didn't just get a bad box. Same exterior, different interior. Absolute ripoff.

This is nothing like the product that It used to be. Sams club pulled pork used to be comparable to a pulled pork shoulder smoked at home. Not even close anymore. The last few I've purchased have been tougher and less smoke flavor and dryer. Not sure why but wish they'd go back to what they did before.

This product is balls pork of gristle. The directions say to cook the meat in a tightly foil covered tray/ dish in the oven. The only ingredient to add is a small amount of water and then pull the pork when done. The meat was so rubbery that it would not pull and it tased like it was seasoned by a plastic container. Over all a terrible product and a waste of money.

We received this to review right after the Great Texas Winter Storm of 2021. After losing almost everything in our fridge and freezer due to 3 days of power outages, this was a welcomed gift. We prepared it as per the directions, but with 10 minutes left in cook time, I took it out of the oven, pulled it apart as directed, then added a 1/4 cup of Stubbs BBQ. I mixed it and put it back in the oven to finish up. My husband said it was just as good as any of the BBQ places around, well, mostly. We will be buying this again.
