I am astonished at all of the high reviews for this product. Yes, it was rather easy to assemble. I did it by myself in 2 days, 16 hours using an 8ft and 6ft ladder to assemble the swing and monkey bars arms. The screws and plates are good quality however the wood is poor, poor quality. It would take little effort to break any board over my knee. The deck flexes tremendously as my 3 year old (35lbs) stands on it. What was even more ominous, I am astonished to find how fast mold had set it on the swing set. After I assembled it on 12/15/13 it rained within a few days and mold started popping up everywhere!! Perhaps it's because I live in Florida and have a high humidity content. I now have to sand it down ~30% of it and restain (I would recommend doing so anyways as water does not repel the wood). Fact is, the cedar is poor quality lacking any durability, its very porous and I am not expecting any long term use out of this product. Looks great initially but there aren't any long term use feedbacks for gauge its true quality. For a 1k investment look somewhere else or at another manufacturer. Will update again after 1 year.

Purchased for my son's second birthday. Had to purchase a toddler swing separate. Overall it was easy to assemble..Just followed step by step..a few tweaks here and there but with a knowledgeable handy person and helper, it was completed in 12 hours or so. It's a really beautiful swing set and I love seeing it in my backyard. It's feels very sturdy and safe. I know my son will get years of play out of it. We are very happy we chose this set after looking at everything out there. It's perfect!

Purchased this for my two new granddaughters. It came with good quality parts that were well marked, decent instructions, and special tools to help put this thing together a snap. It took myself, and my daughter and her husband probably a total of 12-15 hours to put together. Two did the assembly while my daughter (the forewoman) kept us in line with the instructions and got the parts ready for next part of the assembly, which is a very time consuming part of the job. The construction was the easy, but still lengthy part of the job, as long as we could just keep going. Most important is too read the instructions. They were pretty decent. Parts are well marked. When assembling pieces, by very cautious in noticing where the predrilled holes are on the boards. Look at the instruction pictures very carefully. Make sure not only the holes you are working on line up correctly, but also the holes for future assembly are on the correct side of the assembly. For the most part we followed instructions to the tee. When assembling the roof, we did that completely on the ground and hoisted it up afterwards. The instructions have you assemble it on the swingset, which could be challenging at best, since alot of screws are placed in the slats on the top of the roof. The slats were all grooved for water tightness on the roof. I am very pleased with this purchase, the free delivery, and the relatively easy (but time consuming) assembly process.

it was a "labor day special - $300 OFF" + design looked good so we fell for it. set was delivered promptly, packages (two) were not damaged, nor content was missing any pieces. after opening boxes i learned what a definition of "chiniese ceder" is! it's the cheapest pine you can find on the market painted red! well, boxes were opened, kids are screaming of joy (me of disappointment) so i screwed it together.... it looks good, but i feel like i wasted $800 bucks. pay little extra, but go get something locally build, with good craftsmanship and solid structure and material to back it up.

We were very pleased with the quality of materials and the assembly instructions with this kit. The delivery was very prompt. Although there are many pieces, the instructions were very good and the set went together very well. Our granddaughter loves it and so do we.

We are very happy with our purchase of this swingset. We were worried, because it is a little cheaper than the rest. You definitely get more than you pay for. It is good quality, and looks better in person than on website. It took 3 adults about 8 hours to assemble. I would recommend this swingset.My 4 year old loves it.

I purchased this playset several months ago but haven't had the time or energy to deal with it. Buying the set was the worst decision I have ever made and still is. I wasted a lot of money on a playset that my children cant even use because it is a safety hazard to them. I'm just going to go ahead and skip forward to the day of installment and spare you with everything else. 1st of all the 2 men that showed up that day were several hours late, no one ever called me to inform me about them being late and I was the one who had to call customer service back several times to figure out when the men will finally be arriving. Fast forward a few hours later they are finally done, and I am extremely late to the rest of my Appointment for that day. So I signed but didn't have time to look at anything. When I came home I thought this was a joke, my 8 year old could have done a better job putting this together. Every single board was either cricket or loose with several screws and nails missing. The nails were sticking out of the wood in places where children can be injured by them, the boards were wobbly and loose and looked like they were about to fall off. All 3 swings were missing important screws to keep it in place. I could go on and on but I think you get the picture. I am now stuck with a playset that my children cannot use because I refuse to put them in danger and I have to go through the headache of taking it down myself. Such a waste of money. I've tried dealing with customer service, It was a pain to get ahold of anyone and they constantly made promises that a manager would call me back, of course that never happened. All I got was a $200 refund on roughly $1300 purchase.

We are happy with the swing set purchase. My husband and father in law put it together over a two day period. The hardest part seemed to be putting the slide together. It comes in three parts and it was cold the day they were building it. We had to get out the hair dryer to make sure it would bend but not break. The kids are having a blast. We purchased rubber mulch for under the set and chose not to attach the door to the play house underneath the slide (no pinched fingers here!).

This set is great. My husband and I set it up in about 15 hours. We started in the garage and took about an hour to compare the pieces to the list. We put all the pieces in alphabetical order so they were easy to find. We also built each section (monkey bars, swing bar, and play house) in the garage so we KNEW it would be level. Then moved each piece to the backyard for completion and final set up. Not only did this keep us out of the elements, but we knew that the bottom was level since our yard is slightly slanted. Just don't add all the side pieces so the piece can be lifted. Prep will make your life so much easier. Also, they do give you a drill bit for the alan wrench which we didn't realize until half way through. Overall great set. Our kids (6 and 11) have been on it with two of their friends and it seems very stable.

My biggest complaint about this prodcut is the monkey bars. My 5 year old daughter was looking forward to the monkey bars the most and when we put it together there were only 3 bars - they are pretty far away so they could have put them closer and put at least 5 bars. oh well. So far we are happy and our girls love it.
