I have already filled out a survey on this matter, but I guess here it goes again. I received my 9 year olds birthday present the Saratoga Cedar Swing set. The delivery person was great and helped us get it into the yard considering it was very heavy and huge. Upon opening the box and begin putting it together we found that several boards were either split and or splintered. I wanted to return or see about replacements but the child was so upset about having to wait again that we decided to take care of the problems ourselves.

I bought this set with installation and the first time the installation team came out there were 13 broken boards and I got a quick response because I called and explained how unhappy I was. There was a rush and they were here in a little over a week. When the replacement parts came in and the next team came to install the set there were still several broken boards and it was missing parts to the slide. That was 3 weeks ago, I called today and was told that the order was placed six days after the installation team placed the order and there was no time line on the parts being sent to me because they had to be made. I regret this purchase and will not be purchasing from Backyard Discovery again.

Purchased for our 4 year old grandson who was thrilled with it. We have put together this type of set before and knew what to expect. Two people laid out each section with hardware included and two people built. It still took two full days. Directions were difficult to follow. The clubhouse on the bottom will be outgrown quickly. The monkey bars were a huge success. Sturdy and heavy duty. Will be enjoyed for many years.

Purchased swing set for my 7 and 2 year old. Great for both ages, lots of fun

Too many wood planks had big splits in them (15%). Some where main structural sections.

The grand kids are enjoying it! It has fun things for different ages.

The kids love it but I don't feel like it's safe for them... we need to make several improvements to make us feel like it's 100% safe for the kids and wood is cheap

Product is satisfactory but assembly directions leave a lot to be desired. Good luck!! Allow extra time for dis-assembling and re- assembling. Pre-drilled holes don't always line up.

The playset itself is fun for the kids but the materials are very junky. You can snap the ‘wood' if you want to call it that in half in your hands and it's just poor quality. Would not recommend.

The swing set was a great purchase but you need to have easier instructions in putting the swing set together. My husband is an engineer and he had trouble following the instruction manual. I think you would sell more swing sets if it was easier to put together.
