We tried it on the visible front yard first and WOW....We live in the driest climate, West Texas and grass is sometimes hard to come by, but now we have some great growth, so we bought a second round for our large back yard. We have five active pugs so we'll see how it goes, but fingers crossed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm in north Georgia and was looking for bermudagrass seeds that could be use to cover some bare spots in my lawn. I put the Pennington Bermudagrass seeds in the seed starter container due not an ideal season to start seeding outside. I noticed the seed started to germinate by day 4. I used to try growing Bermuda seeds directly but never been successful. I'm planning to use this grass for plugs and hopefully will fill in the bare spot area quickly. This Bermudagrass variety is ideal for southern lawns that receive full sun for eight or more hours each day. It offers exceptional heat, drought, and traffic tolerance, making it a great choice for your lawn. 

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] HAVE USED GRASS SEEDS FOR YEARS, EVERY SPRING AS A MATER OF FACT. THIS SPRING, I HAD ALREADY PURCHASED SOME OF THE BERMUDA. THE PENNINGTON GRASS SEEDS APPEAR TO PROVIDE BETTER COVERAGE THAN SOME OF THE OTHER BRANDS THAT I HAVE USED IN THE PAST, EXCITED FOR THE FINAL RESULTS. SEEMS LIKE IT'S GOING TO BE GREAT

I've tried a few other brands of grass that didn't grow very well so I'm hoping that this one will produce good results! The 5lb bag is more than enough to cover all the spots in my yard. It's too early to tell how the grass will grow but I will update my review in a few weeks.

It's a large backyard and it was going to be really costly to add pallets of grass so it's got lots of bare spots. Also - Texas had a really rough winter. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received a sample of Pennington Bermudagrass to try, & so far it's been okay. I do see a slight difference in my lawn, but it seems too early to tell. The weather here in Texas has been quite varied, with some hot & dry days mixed in with occasional rain. This might be affecting the growth, so I'm planning to give it more time to see the full effects.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] applied this product as new grass and over existing grass that wasn't doing well. I was really surprised that in just over a week, my existing spots were green and doing well. My newly planted grass is just coming up but I have high hopes for it.
