Awful chair, I can not believe these are still for sale. They fall apart within a year and the bottom cushion gives out and you will sit lopsided. I returned both of the ones I purchased. Thank the Lord for Sam's return policy. Please get rid of this product sams.

**Do NOT buy this horrible chair!!** Replacing a La-Z-Boy chair much like this one that I've had for years and was very pleased with, but was worn out. This chair has the "active lumbar" support which no matter how I adjusted it felt like being shoved in the lower back all day. Sitting up shoves you towards the front to make you lean forward, laying back the lumbar collapses but sucks in to be very uncomfortable, so I could never get to any position that was usable, much less sitting in it for hours each day. Tried the adjustment in the instructions to little help. Called the support number but they could not help. Returning this horrible chair is my last and only option. These are currently on sale, and no wonder. Hopefully this design will be replaced to go back to the prior version what was far more comfortable and usable.

There was nothing about this chair that I liked. Literally. The fabric rips very easily. It felt wobbly and unsteady constantly. The chair tilted so far to the front that it literally hurt to sit in it and felt like I was sliding off of it. It was was not put together incorrectly. When I replaced it with a less expensive but much sturdier chair without the name brand I realized just how bad this La-z-boy chair truly is.

This chair is not high enough like other executive chairs, so you can rest your head as you would expect. Also, the seat portion does not extend under the thighs like other brands, and the "leather" is very slippery causing for a very uncomfortable session. It feels like i had to keep opposite pressure so I dont slip off which added strain. A chair like this should feel luxurious, and not make me feel like I have to keep balanced.

Because it wasn't available to see at the store, I ordered this chair "on faith," trusting the name for quality. I am a woman in my mid-70s, and, following the clear instructions, was able to fully assemble it on my own. I've used it quite a lot for about a month now, and am completely satisfied with the purchase. The chair is sturdy and comfortable. And good looking, too. My gauge for rating a purchase is to ask whether, "knowing now what I didn't know then," would I buy it again. The answer in this case is a resounding, "Yes, with no hesitation."

I bought the chair for its comfort. The minute I sat down on it, I was sold. And l have not been disappointed. I have sat in a lot of different desk chairs in my life and this is the best one, by far. Thank you, La-Z-Boy for my comfortable desk chair.

Wheel broke, they sent new wheels. Pneumatic cylinder stopped holding air so went to Menards and bought a piece of PVC. Three years after PVC, it now feels like sitting on a pointy peak every move makes chair tip, plus it creaks, every time feel like will be on floor. All of this inside the 5 years had the chair. $235 for a chair that can't last 5 years without issues.

Chair assembled easily and is quite comfortable however the height adjustment doesn’t work. I called the 800 number and they said the piston is bad and they would send a replacement. So now I have to wait for it to arrive and repair a new chair. How can something like this get past quality control? Perhaps there is no quality control. I am also concerned about the bonded leather upholstery and how it will hold up. At least the price was reasonable.

Just bought the Lay-Z-Boy Active Lumbar, High Back Ergonomic Chair # 52069- BRN at Sam’s Club, really great price! I had a pretty old desk chair and was having a lot of lower back issues and this chair has really provided the support I need to be at my desk all day every day. Also, this chair really takes my home office to the next level with the aesthetics of the chair. Just Love It! Fabulous find all around, thank you Lay-Z-Boy!
