This lump charcoal is perfect for grilling or smoking, size is consistent, A little small at the bottom but I think that’s expected with any lump. 10/10 would buy again.

I've been using The Good Charcoal pretty much every day for the last 9 months. Great flavor, long burning, and burns hot. Being priced as low as it is also makes me like it that much more. If you haven't tried it yet, you really should!

Through out 2022 Picked up about 15 bags of this great quality charcoal burns good some small pieces and large pieces in the bag I highly recommend it

I bought this to use in our Big Green Egg and it is terrible! My husband has to use my hair dryer for it to get hot enough to cook steaks! He'll use the hair dryer and it will get up to 400 degrees, but within minutes, it goes down to 300 degrees! Going to throw the rest of it out. Don't waste your money on this!

Picked up 10 bags as it's is on sale. Did a test cook this weekend. This stuff is fine. Uniform in size no rocks or contruction debris like some of the brands I purchased in the past. Lights quickly, burns slowly.with no sparking. Burns hot and clean. Going to try to pickup a few more bags.

I’ve been using this charcoal competitive and for home cooks for 2 years and I love it compared to the other big names. I use it in my PK grill and my Char-Griller gravity fed 980 with no issues! It burns wayyyy hotter, cleaner than the other guys stuff.

I definitely love this product and I hope that Sam's club continues to carry it. I have purchased seven bags in 2023 and I must say that I use this now more than Kingsford Blue. Great product. Cookes clean and pairs well with hickory, cherry and apple woods for flavor

We use a combo of The Good Charcoal Briquettes and Lump in our drum cookers and absolutely love them. They burn clean, hot and we get long cooks using this combo. The Good Charcoal provides a nice balanced smoke flavor that judges and family love. The smoke flavor we get compliments the meat and does not overpower it.

This is the worst charcoal I have ever used. It contains very small pieces of charcoal that burn very quickly which clearly shows that this is low quality charcoal. I have used other charcoal brands and while every charcoal bag has some small pieces, this bag pretty much only had small pieces. The bag claims that they burn hotter and longer but I don't think they do. I had hard time cooking with these charcoal as they didn't burn hot and most of the charcoal pieces kept falling from the grill because they were burning so fast and were so small. I am very disappointed that sams club has this product on their shelves. I bought this product thinking that sams club carries good quality products but it was a absolute rip off
