took it camping on an island and it heated up very very fast, worked great cant say a bad thing about it. It is real wood, not pulp pressed into perfect little balls so yes the pieces are different sizes. Would buy again for sure.

This lump charcoal is perfect for grilling or smoking, size is consistent, A little small at the bottom but I think that’s expected with any lump. 10/10 would buy again.

I've been using The Good Charcoal pretty much every day for the last 9 months. Great flavor, long burning, and burns hot. Being priced as low as it is also makes me like it that much more. If you haven't tried it yet, you really should!

We use a combo of The Good Charcoal Briquettes and Lump in our drum cookers and absolutely love them. They burn clean, hot and we get long cooks using this combo. The Good Charcoal provides a nice balanced smoke flavor that judges and family love. The smoke flavor we get compliments the meat and does not overpower it.

I utilized the white and blue bag briquettes until I came across the this amazing Acacia Lump charcoal. This Burns Hot and for a long period of time. This is officially the only charcoal I utilize for all my grills and smokers. If you’re on the edge of purchasing this item, please proceed with doing so. You WONT regret it!

Bought this back in the fall at half price so I stocked up. Boy what a mistake. If this is the good charcoal company I'd hate to see the bad! Bags were mostly full of dust and some very small lump. What didn't fall through grate I burned. Had a very creosote smell. So glad I finally used them all up. Never again!

Picked up 10 bags as it's is on sale. Did a test cook this weekend. This stuff is fine. Uniform in size no rocks or contruction debris like some of the brands I purchased in the past. Lights quickly, burns slowly.with no sparking. Burns hot and clean. Going to try to pickup a few more bags.

I’ve been using this charcoal competitive and for home cooks for 2 years and I love it compared to the other big names. I use it in my PK grill and my Char-Griller gravity fed 980 with no issues! It burns wayyyy hotter, cleaner than the other guys stuff.
