This charcoal lasted longer than any of the others ive used..im an avid griller!! Where can i find more??Sams why have you stopped selling it??

This charcoal is awesome! We have a Solo Stove and when it’s real cold I threw some in the fire, and it makes the fire so much hotter! And they last forever! Good clean heat!

My husband and I switched to The Good Charcoal a year ago, and we absolutely love it. It's such a much better cleaner product than the other charcoal we have used in the past. My husband loves that it can get hotter quicker and stays hot longer. My whole Family has switched to it. This company is really on to something here!

I've been a griller for years, I'm a charcoal grilling purest. No gas grills anywhere near my house. So when I stumbled upon The Good Charcoal, I thought I would give it a shot, TBH when first saw it, I liked the bag and the price for a hardwood charcoal. So I read a few comments about the charcoal piece size, and I get it, people say bigger is better, but after years of grilling, I have found that not to be the case. At first, I was a bit skeptical too. But here's the thing, some people just grab the top bag that's been tossed around and beat up and get angry when its all crushed up, no surprise. When I opened up my bag I saw a wide variety of piece sizes somewhat were actually pretty large chunks but those smaller pieces burned just as well and helped me even out the charcoal to avoid hot spots. After my first cook, I was pleased so I actually looked into this product after skimming the claims on the bag and I realized The Good Charcoal sources its charcoal from invasive bushes, not from old growth trees that take hundreds of years to grow like oak or hickory. So, I was pretty pumped about that, Its mild flavor lets me add a few chucks of wood to taste and I can tell my wife I’m doing my part by helping cut down invasive species and give my kid a brat cooked over chemical-free charcoal. I mean come on, find me another brand doing more than these guys. I don't mean to preach it's just that it bumps me out that a brand doing so much good is being reviewed like this by people who just care about the size of the pieces. But if you're just looking for a basic review unrelated to the brand itself from a grill dad. This charcoal burns like a champ. It got hot and it stays hot. I cooked lunch and dinner with the same bed of coals. I've cooked hot and fast, and smoked ribs low and slow it's versatile and the smoke is nice pretty clear/white. So, if you're like me. I'd say try it for yourself and grab a crisp bag from the pallet. If your not a size purest I'm pretty sure you'll love it.

Being a Backyard Pitmaster, I’ve tried my fair share of charcoal. I’ll keep it simple. The Acacia Wood that this lump coal is made from burns hotter than others, so you need less of it. I prefer lump over briquettes. But the biggest factor I like about this is that the pieces are decent size. It’s not the huge big block. I found in the past with big block lump, I used to have to adjust the huge pieces and bring them together to generate heat after burning for some time. Here, I can create a pile and it will burn down in that pile without my adjustments being needed. It’s a simple long burn that is chemical free and a great price and value. Get some.

We are an SCA competition team out of Utah, and we use The Good Charcoal exclusively. The last comp we cooked in it helped us take first place and sixth place. It Burns hot, it burns clean and it’s everything you need out of a charcoal. I sincerely recommend this charcoal for comps or just for the backyard for friends and family.

This is one of the BEST charcoals we've had in a long time!

Good charcoal but about 25% of several bags so far have been crushed and almost unusable as it falls through the chimney.
