There are pellet grills that cost twice as much that have some advanced features not available on this one, so my comments are taking into account the entry-level status of it. Assembly was straight forward and the unit arrived undamaged. Read and follow the initial and subsequent startup instructions, and you'll have no problems. Wings, breasts, halves, pizzas, and hot dogs have all turned out great. Burgers and steaks lack the sear on the outside, but tasted good. The size of the cooking area is bigger than some pricier grills. Bottom line is this is unbeatable for the price.

This thing is top quality. I use to work for Traeger before pellet grills became a big thing and haven't owned one in a while and couldn't afford a Traeger. But man I love this grill it beyond meets expectations for the price. This thing is sturdy and cooks awesome no complaints after 1 month.

I am very happy with this product. The pellet smoker concept is GREAT and this machine is very good and I highly recommend it and pleased I purchased especially for the price. There are somethings I don't care for but they are minor and for the price easily overlooked and my success smoking so far makes them a little mute. 1. there is no seal around the lid so there is smoke escape that I'd rather not have. 2. the hopper needs to be a little bigger. 3. the biggest problem for me is the temp. dial has set temps so if want a different temp I can't get it. This is actually a problem because I like to go lower longer at times and can't. But good product well worth the money.

The first thing I did was "smoke" a rack of ribs. Very disappointed that there was NO smoke flavor. The ribs might as well have been cooked in the oven. I'm going back to my Weber Smoky Mountain smoker. I suppose this is characteristic of all pellet cookers though. Anyone want a pellet cooker cheap?

I bought this just a few weeks ago & it works awesome! We have even noticed that it is better built than the name brands out there. It is very easy to use & my husband and son had no trouble putting it together. Works like a charm & everything we have made tastes yummy!

I had traditional wood sidecar smokers before. This smokers provides a guide smoking experience with virtually no effort. It really is set it and forget it. The temperature stability is excellent. The indirect heat in the oven is very even. It's only been a couple weeks, but I've smoke salmon, a couple whole chickens, 3 racks of baby back ribs, and an 8 lb brisket. Everything came out great. And this is a great price! I'd buy it again without hesitation.

Ive only cooked on it a few times and ribs came out better than expected. I usually use my BGE, but when you want to 'set it and forget it', this has worked well so far. I like that it has a smoke setting to give the food more or less smoke flavor. Very easy to use. The bad part of it was in the assembly. The legs did attach to the grill correctly. I had to pound out the metal to line up with the grill. Then when I went to do the initial burn the grill kept turning on and off. Figuring it was just a loose connection or something, I unscrewed the motor assembly and found one of the wires not totally locked into place. Problem solved, but thats probably not something most people are expecting to do when they buy a brand new grill. I also took the advice of other reviewers and did not attach the pellet screen to the hopper so you can remove pellets as this grill does not have a trap door to do that. The low price was the reason I took the dive and bought it and so far I am pleased with the purchase.

The price kind of threw me for a loop considering other comparable grills are going for $400+ but this is just as sturdy and well built, if not better, than other grills. The electronic controller works as advertised and the probe is actually in a good location. It's not right up against the grill like Traeger does. Assembly was fun but doable. I look forward to many meals on this fill! Overall if you can catch this grill on sale, go for it. It's worth every penny!

Pros: even heat, smoke setting for extra flavor, good grease management, relatively easy to clean, decent temperature control, lid fits good enough to manage smoke/temp, good build quality for price Cons: shipping damage and some deep scratches that appear to be from shipping and manufacturing. One leg mount bent and had to straighten with pliers. Temperature control knob was broken, company sent a replacement control unit quickly with no hassle. It's a mess of wires/plugs to replace temperature control unit and get everything tucked out of the way and secured. Takes about 2 hours to assemble ( not counting temperature control replacement) with one person, recommend 2 people for part of the assembly.

I had been researching pellet grills/smokers for awhile when I found this Members Mark. For anyone that has tried to maintain temperature on a “stick burner”, you will really appreciate this smoker. Does it maintain perfect temperature? No. However, it does a lot better job than I could. You can not find a better value in small pellet smoker grills.
