I don't do reviews...however, I've had this smoker for a few weeks, and I love it. I've been telling everyone about it anyway, so I might as well write a review too. The smoker came in a box with all of the parts and pieces inside of the cooking chamber. I feel that I'm pretty handy, and it took about half an hour to assemble. The instructions are pretty simple to follow, and they sent one extra of all of the nuts & bolts so I'd have plenty...just in case. One tip - there is a grate in the pellet chamber that is held in place by four screws. With this grate in place, it would be very difficult to get the pellets out of the chamber, if needed. I removed the four screws, took out the grate, replaced the four screws and held them in place with nuts that I already had (the screw holes in the grate are threaded so the screws won't stay in place without nuts - sorry, I don't know what size the threads on the screws are). So, now the grate rests on top of the screws and can easily be lifted out. After building the smoker, I grabbed a bag of "Traeger Gourmet Blend Wood Pellets" and loaded the pellet chamber. After going through the seasoning process, I decided to christen the smoker properly by smoking a 7 lb. pork loin. I rubbed the pork loin with "Spade L Ranch Pork Chop & Rib Seasoning," started the smoker, heated it up to 225 F, and put the loin on to cook. Two hours and 45 minutes later, and my family was enjoying the BEST pork loin we have ever had! I smoked some salmon a few days later, and again, the results were the same - it was the best we've had. My friend suggested that I try smoking a frozen pizza. He said that smoked frozen pizza is better than take-out/delivery. I wouldn't say that it's better than take-out/delivery, but it's really, really good. For Christmas Eve dinner, I smoked an 11 lb. spiral cut ham. My family LOVED it! Tomorrow, I'm planning to smoke a 6 lb. pork rib roast. I know it's going to be amazing. The Member's Mark 28" Pellet Smoker Grill is awesome. It's a great price too. I've been telling everyone about it. It does everything a smoker needs to do. Sure, you can get smokers with more bells and whistles, that are seriously not needed, but you will pay three to five times more. I mean, the Traeger Pro Series 22 is about $800, and the only real difference is that it's able to hold a few pounds more of the wood pellets. If you are looking for a pellet smoker, you can't find a better one, especially for the price, than the Member's Mark 28" Pellet Smoker Grill!

Pellet grill works great!
I bought the pellet grill nearly a month ago after reading reviews and waiting to find the best deal. The Members Mark was in my price range and since there were so many positive reviews I decided to give it a try and I'm really glad I did. It went together fairly easily. I did however backtrack once to remove the grate from the hopper so could remove the pellets when I was done, otherwise everything is perfect. I also bought a wireless thermometer which also works great. I've used it twice now and I'm very happy with my purchase.

Love my new smoker
I bought this smoker about 3 weeks ago, and have used it 7 times so far. The ribs I made the first time burned pretty bad since I didn't follow directions. All the other items I made were fantastic, ribs, pork but, brisquit, etc. The trick is to watch it, not forget while you are watching the game. Took my son and I about 45 minutes to put it togeather, and I was missing 1 screw and nut(had one in my junk jar). It does lose a lot of smoke around the door, could use some kind of seal. Temp and thermo on lid off by about 25 degrees, but I use temp probes for best cooking results. Overall great product.

Our first pellet smoker
Hi , We we finally had to put our charcoal grill out to the curb after 10 years of loyal service that being said we decided that from what we were hearing from friends and family that pellet grills are the way to go now . We dont like gas flavored food so this was the next best thing faster start up ,less hassle to clean & a smoky flavor sounded good to us. So we took the plunge and bought this grill as it was well priced and had pretty good consumer rating. We ordered it online and it was delivered in 3 days so when I got home from work I grabbed a beer and my wife gave me a hand assembling it, hey we have put many IKEA furniture pieces together this cant be that bad ! Well it took us longer than some folks about 1 1/2 hrs. but overall it was pretty easy to assemble. We used the grill a couple days later on memorial day and we smoked & cooked ribs,steaks,hot dogs,chicken you name it and everything turned out great ! We were super pleased with the results. The only feedback and its probably me not following instructions but while on the smoke setting the temperature kept inching up to high for smoking so I had to really babysit and mess with the settings. We have only had this a couple weeks but so far its been great to be able to get home turn it on and cook right away , still wanting to try the pizza thing . Time will tell but so far so good !

Cooked good, but questionable quality
I have mixed feelings about this grill. I cooked a turkey and it came out delicious, everyone at the party raved about how good it was. Unfortunately on my first cook the paint on the grill peeled off pretty bad, and the temp on the dial varied about 20 degrees from the actual tempature. So quality and durability might be questionable. I am debating whether to return it.

My first pallet smoker.
I purchased this smoker, cause a coworker suggested I try it. I don't like that it doesn't cook evenly across the whole smoker, my pork loin was cooked only on the left side the other side needed 30 more minutes. Steaks were done the same way. My medium rare we're good on the left while we'll done we're on the right, although I work with what I have. I would prefer this cook evenly throughout. Putting this together was easy and strait forward, I don't know if smoke is supposed to come out everywhere, but that also happens(it may be normal. I really don't know).

Broke The second time it was used
I bought last year‘s model for my mother and it worked fine and was great so I got this year‘s model for my boyfriend and it broke the second time he used it it didn't feed the pellets all the directions were followed implicitly . Directions say do not return to Sam's Club how frustrating this is after putting it all together and taking it apart and troubleshooting and now have to deal with a broken part very disappointed

Looks great, broken knob spoils all the fun.
I bought this a month ago, came on a Wednesday. I put it together on Saturday. Very easy to assemble and looks amazing once together. I follow the directions exactly per the book on first time lighting and everything goes perfectly as described. I notice the knob seems flimsy or maybe even broken, it didn't line up with the lines for temp. I get to the step where you leave it go on high for 45 min to get rid of any residue or paint and it won't turn on. I check all the plugs and gfi, everything is fine. I contact the manufacturer just like the paper inside the box said to and they got back to me the next day offering to send a replacement part. I have not received it and have sent 3 emails to which have gotten no reply.
